Hannes, the owner, went out of his way to accommodate us on very short notice and then we were delayed en route, but this didn't dampen his friendliness. A lovely place and really good value for money.

It was lovely, clean, tidy and there are friendly people. Food excellent.
Staff very friendly and helpful. You are treated like someone who has been friends with the staff for years. If you eat at the restaurant, make sure you don't eat anything ahead of time, the food is of the best quality and believe me, once you start eating you won't want to stop, it's so delicious it's prepared. The staff at the restaurant come to talk to you or you are old friends with them and you are carried on their hands. Your car and trailer or whatever you have with you is very safe. There is a night guard so guys come and go and visit but spend the night there. You can rest assured that you can sleep all night without worrying about your vehicles. Hannis went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and at home. You sleep in a lovely air cooled room so people you won't die from the heat, the people look after their guests. This is my only stopover in the future. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
We were kept informed about four weeks before arrival. It was not even necessary to call the owners to confirm final arrangements. Clean safe accommodation. Stopped over for one night on the way to Mozambique. Second time staying here and would book again.
Ideal for the visitor to the Kruger National Park. The rooms at Tambarina are large and neatly equipped with the essentials. Quiet surroundings and Hannes and his staff are very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend if you want to spend the night before entering the Wildlife Park gate.

Relatively clean and very basic. No reception. The price does not justify accommodation.
The accommodation was clean, neat, tidy and comfortable. Premises were easy to find and Charlain was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately restaurant was closed for public holiday (we had been per-warned of this by Charlain) so cannot rate that.
We had a nice stay. Very well decorated.
Everything was neat and clean with friendly service. Complimentary toiletries would have been nice, but we did bring our own.
