Taringa is peaceful, environmental friendly garden apartment, located on the owner’s property in Muizenberg, but with its own separate entrance, offering guests privacy. The cottage is set in an indigenous garden, and guests will be able to see and hear a variety of bird life, especially in the mornings. There is also a nearby vlei to explore, or guests can head into the village for a scrumptious evening meal of locally caught line fish with a bottle of good old South African wine or locally brewed craft beer.

The apartment is made up of 2 rooms, divided by a thick wooden sliding door. The first room, the bedroom, contains 2 single beds and a shower en-suite with a toilet and washbasin. The second room has an open-plan kitchenette and living room area, that contains an additional single bed. The basic kitchenette is equipped with a bar fridge, a sink, kettle, a 2-plate mini-stove and oven, cutlery and crockery. Tea, coffee, sugar, some rusks and milk are provided on arrival to get you started. Wi-Fi internet access is available.

Please note that smoking is not allowed inside or on the stoep/patio/verandah. Also note that we have two beloved medium small dogs on the premises and a braai pit.

The apartment opens onto a patio with outdoor furniture to sit and enjoy a sundowner after a day of exploring.
