Accommodation comprises 15 units, suited to accommodate up to 50 guests. The units on offer include the 4 Sleeper Chalets, a 6 Sleeper Chalet, 2 Sleeper Tents, 4 Sleeper Tents, Honeymoon Suite and 2 Sleeper Chalets. Chalets come equipped with comfortable beds, and a bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, or both. These units also come equipped with their own private entrances.
At Tava Lingwe Game Lodge we offer 75 well-spaced caravan or tent stands on beautiful green lawns (in season). All stands have electricity. Ablution blocks are very neat and cleaned regularly. Some ablution blocks also have family bathrooms.
On-site facilities include secure parking, conference facilities, and a restaurant on the premises (closed on Saturdays). Guests are also welcome to make use of the on-site activities which include bird watching, game viewing, game drives, and swimming. The lodge also offer mini golf, pool table, chess and table tennis.
Guests are also welcome to enjoy the nearby activities which include horse riding, fishing, bass fishing, fly fishing, trout fishing, and mountain biking.

It was a particularly nice weekend despite the cold. Would love to come again.
It was our first visit to Tava Lingwe, and for sure not our last. Dries and Santie are incredible. The resort is well maintained and a lovely getaway. The 4 of us, see you again soon.

Tava Lingwe is an excellent campsite. I would highly recommend it to any families with young children. The atmosphere is very pleasant and you relax completely. Furthermore, the restaurant and game drive are excellent value for money.

Tava Lingwe is a beautiful holiday spot. It has all the necessities to have a nice holiday and at the same time gives you the feeling of being in the bush. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway. Children can enjoy swimming and cycling. Very nice place.
It had been really nice, very peaceful. Everything is neat and clean, plenty of space for children to ride their bikes. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Cottages are neat, clean and very well furnished.

We were very happy with the service and it was peaceful at all times. People are friendly and the rules were followed. It's such a nice atmosphere and would go back anytime. Definitely worth the money, game drive was so professional and the tour guide patiently answered all questions. They had humor and kept our attention the whole time.

We went to relax (mom) and have fun (teens) and that's exactly what we did. The chalet was very basic but had all we needed. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the game drive.

Lodge and chalet are very nice, clean and tidy. All that is needed for self-care. Pit-pit, small hot and small kiddies pool, large cold pool, hiking trail of 2 km up the mountain. Game drives available, costs a bit high for game drive, heard lion roar.
Very nice place. Clean and tidy and lots to do for children. Several swimming pools. A shop that is fairly well stocked with any daily necessities. Staff very friendly. Game drive was also very fun for us and the children. Always nice to see such healthy lions up close.
It's an excellent getaway place, kids can ride their bicycles. Escape the city life to a peaceful lodge. Friendly owners. Will book again.

We were spoiled with the wonderful service, fun-filled activities, the cleanest swimming areas and play parks. The family which owns the establishment make you feel at peace. We were delighted by their stories and enjoyed every single moment there. Truly a wonderful experience. They even went to the extreme and assisted my daughter with aloe for her sunburn. A truly beautiful family.

We stayed over for 3 nights, it was Nampo. The room was nice and big, all the amenities were there, didn't even miss the TV. With loadshedding, they pump the water with a generator. Everything was nice and clean. The dinners were delicious. Dominique and her team took good care of us, we will definitely stay there again. Thank you very much.
The little things that were extra in the cabin made it really special. And the place smelled great when we walked in. The people who helped us (Dominque and Dries) were friendly and made us feel very comfortable and at home. Wonderful work they are doing with the lions.
Tava Lingwe exceeded our expectations. Friendly owners and staff, felt like friends. The grounds are clean and tidy. The tent we stayed in was neat and had everything one needs. The breakfast was very tasty. I have to recommend the game drive. We were happy with everything and would definitely recommend Tava Lingwe, good value for money and would love to visit again.

The reception is very friendly and helpful. Clean, tidy units. Nice overnight stay on the way to Nampo. Nice environment to also be able to ride a bike. Location close to Paris and Nampo. We could also hear lions in the distance.
We didn't want to go home. Definitely recommend Tava Lingwe to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of a busy life. We went as strangers, but felt like we were leaving family behind.
It is the perfect getaway for a family with children. We enjoyed the game drive very much. The staff are also friendly and helpful.
All was well, neat and clean. We truly enjoyed the stay. The only problem we had was that the bed was really uncomfortable. Not sure if it was only the one in our tent but should we go there again - we would choose a different tent. Ablution was so clean and tidy.
The activities such as the game drives and the cocktails on the hill exceeded our expectations. Our chalet was fully equipped and we had a great time staying and visiting. We would love to visit Tava Lingwe again
Not only is it value for money but it is amazing. They think of everything for you. From dishwashing liquid to a broom and dustpan right down to a chopping board. I will gladly stay there again as it was amazing. I loved it! You don't get better than this, I must say. I was so sad to leave.

It's absolutely an example of Shalom (peace) and "wholeness"! Our stay at Tava Lingwe Game Lodge can only be summed up in one word: amazing. At Tava Lingwe Game Lodge we were welcomed with such hospitality. We could see and experience the Shalom, the tranquility, "harmony", "wholeness" and "tranquility" everywhere. Tava Lingwe is painfully neat and clean. The chalets and campsites are well located and clean and all the ablution blocks are clean and very nice inside. The campers were quiet, we didn't even hear them, just saw them. We really enjoyed the bird sounds and for us it was an amazing bonus to be able to see the sun rise every morning through our honeymoon suite's window. Our honeymoon suite was so awesome and beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment there and Tava Lingwe felt to us like a place of "homecoming". We were spoiled every morning with a breakfast picnic basket that Santie or Dominique brought us themselves and we could also enjoying dinner on the veranda of our chalet. Every night we heard the roaring of the lions and of course the sounds of the foxes which my husband enjoys so much. The dining hall has the most beautiful furniture and they make the most delicious dishes. I really enjoyed the milk food, I last ate it as a child. We want to say a big thank you to Santie, Dries, Dominique and her husband (can't remember his name) who went out of their way to make us feel so at home. We will visit Tava Lingwe Game Lodge again soon. Tava Lingwe is like a band-aid for us.

It was a great, safe, family-friendly getaway.
The units were clean and everything required was there. I do feel that they do not qualify as a Game Lodge but as a camp site with chalets with access to a farm with game on. Although it is the same owners, it is not the same property. Christmas lunch was out of this world. The tastes exploded in your mouth. It was amazing. Bathroom lay-out is a bit iffy as you have to try and squeeze past the basin to get into the shower.
My wife and I enjoyed it very much and would love to do something like that again.

The place is neat, staff accommodating, breakfast and dinner delicious. I had a beautiful sundown with my husband it was on top of the mountain. I also had a game drive there, is was very interesting seeing big Tau.

Would definitely recommend for any travel types. Young, old, single, wedding anniversaries, that break-away-from-the-world. Upon arrival, my wife and I were warmly welcomed, like long-lost relatives. The aroma and the location are enough to soothe your soul. We stayed in the HoneyMoon Chalet for our wedding anniversary and what an experience. With an enticing horizon from your porch, you can't stop yourself from enjoying a cup of boeret rose along with the sunrise. And of course in the evening you have night noises with a lion roaring like that in between, from the lion camp. The food itself I would also comfortably give a 10\10 which for sure exceeded our expectations. Friendly hospitality followed up with genuine service delivery will be able to conquer any requirements. Thank you very much for an unforgettable time and you will definitely see us again and again soon.

We had a peaceful stay, the chalets were clean and had everything we needed to use for a self-catering unit. Even though the farm is not very big no one seemed to be disturbed by their neighbours. We were only there for 2 nights so didn't partake in a lot of the activities offered but we did go on the game drive (although I feel it might be a bit pricey) it was very enjoyable and I learnt some new things about nature that I didn't know before.
I will surely visit again and stay longer to explore more - game drive is awesome.
The directions to the lodge were very clear and you would hardly get lost. The service was excellent and after a problem arose with my booked room the staff without hesitation resolved the problem and thanks to the upgrade we had a fantastic weekend.

7. All facilities are used at own risk. Management, owners and personal take no responsibility for any damage, loss, theft or injuries.
8. In book time in the units from 14:00. All rooms must be vacated by 10:00am on departure day.
9. Caravan Park check in time from 10:00 and check out at 10:00 on departure day. Contact office to require for early check in and late check out
10. If you expecting guests it must be arranged at the office prior of their arrival.
11. We expect you to be considered about the guests in the lodge, NO MUSIC will be tolerated, especially out of a vehicle. You will be asked to leave the premises if you do not abide by this rule.
12. Day visitors: Bookings are essential. Day visitors only from 08:00 until 17:00, R30.00 per vehicle and R80.00 per person, R50 for primary school children
13. We do not provide swimming towels, dish-cloths or dish wash liquid, we do have a shop if you need something.
14. Towels will not be replaced for 2 nights stay. Towels will be replaced for longer stays. No housekeeping during your stay.
15. Please remember that sound carries at night and awnings are no barrier to the noise. ALL noise must be lowered by 22:00. Voices can be just as loud at night and can be disturbing to those wishing to sleep. Again, if this rule is not abided by, you may be asked to leave the premises without compensation.
16. If the noise from your neighbor is bothering you, please take this up with management.
17. Please supervise your children at all times especially by the swimming pool and in the play area. Make sure they do not cause any damage to the resort, as you will be liable for payment for any repairs. Do not allow children to climb, break or damage the trees and bushes. Fine of R1000.00 must be paid immediately.
18. Please keep by the speed limit of 10-20 km per hour and be aware of children in the area.
19. We have vehicles entering and leaving the resort. Please make sure your children are aware of vehicles.
20. Please close any taps if you see water running from it.
21. Use water sparingly and take other guests in consideration when showering.
22. Please leave the stand/unit in a clean matter like you received it. If you leave the area in a mess an immediate payment of R300.00 is payable. Units will be charged R500.00 if the unit is left in a mess.
23. If any injuries occur please report to the office immediately or try to find the paramedic if there is 1 on shift.
24. No drinking glasses in the swimming pool.
25. No bicycles around the swimming pools and on the mini golf course.
26. Please keep the resort clean. Dustbins provided.
27. All guests must wear appropriate clothing and swimwear when using any facilities. If the management for some reason think your clothing is inappropriate, they may ask you to change your clothing or leave the premises.
28. Report all fires immediately.
29. In the event of a function, the music is allowed as arranged with management.
30. If Management feels that your behavior is inappropriate to other guests you may be asked to leave the premises. This decision will be final and with no refund.
31. Be aware of snakes, spiders and scorpions. Report snakes to office immediately.
32. If you find any fault or damage to the property please report it to the office immediately. We will try and fix it as soon as possible. Please keep in mind that there might be unforeseen situations where faults or damages may not be fixed immediately.
33. Please note no person without a valid driver’s license is allowed to drive any vehicle on the premises. We have children all over the resort and their safety is our priority.

Accommodation comprises 15 units, suited to accommodate up to 50 guests. The units on offer include the 4 Sleeper Chalets, a 6 Sleeper Chalet, 2 Sleeper Tents, 4 Sleeper Tents, Honeymoon Suite and 2 Sleeper Chalets. Chalets come equipped with comfortable beds, and a bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, or both. These units also come equipped with their own private entrances.
At Tava Lingwe Game Lodge we offer 75 well-spaced caravan or tent stands on beautiful green lawns (in season). All stands have electricity. Ablution blocks are very neat and cleaned regularly. Some ablution blocks also have family bathrooms.
On-site facilities include secure parking, conference facilities, and a restaurant on the premises (closed on Saturdays). Guests are also welcome to make use of the on-site activities which include bird watching, game viewing, game drives, and swimming. The lodge also offer mini golf, pool table, chess and table tennis.
Guests are also welcome to enjoy the nearby activities which include horse riding, fishing, bass fishing, fly fishing, trout fishing, and mountain biking.
