Very good location and spacious room. No "loadshedding" due to batteries that help a lot. Other facilities such as swimming pool and dining room are very good.
The staff and owners are very friendly and made us feel at ease. Our units were serviced every day which is a plus with fresh towels and they also provide beach towels. I just didn't like the separate ironing room as you have to go there and iron before or after you shower which you prefer to do in your unit. The TV is a bit small as it's a bit far from the bed since you lie on your bed while watching TV. Our unit was close to the pool area and quiet times are 11pm-6am, with the result because of the heat some visitors came from the back units to come to swim early therefore we couldn't sleep late. The grass was also cut early morning at 8am and there were guys up and down with a wheelbarrow at 7am which also had us awake early. on New Years morning at our neighbours were arguing and making such a noise from 11pm-1am I actually sent a WhatsApp to the owners to make them aware. Wi-Fi was mostly available but was also off for a few hours every now and then. Other than that we had a lovely stay and thanks again for everything.
The place was beautiful well maintained. Location was easy to find. Host was friendly and with good communication.

The staff were helpful and friendly with arrival and requests during the stay. The children really enjoyed the pool. The unit was excellent, the televisions in the rooms were a plus. Great location for vacationers! Will definitely go again!
TeBeacon is a gem of a place. After struggling to find suitable accommodation in East London, I came across this beautiful place. The reception staff was excellent. Esmarie/Ina, thank you for your service. The place was clean and could not fault the accommodation. I particularly liked the braai facilities. Close to shopping centres and beach. The owner was friendly and had a good conversations with him. I like the idea of being totally off the water and electricity grid. Well done!
Very tidy, fully equipped, fantastic service. Ina was top notch. She prepared a five-star buffet breakfast. The children really enjoyed the pool. Air cooling worked fantastic through muggy nights.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with TeBeacon. We were treated like royalty from our arrival to our departure. Will gladly recommend this to friends and family.
The environment was fantastic. The pool on the very hot day was great. Self-catering rooms are what we like. It's a place alone where you break away from your home and not long for home.
This guest house is definitely to be recommended, especially for people from the countryside who will still appreciate 'old-fashioned' spontaneous hospitality.
