"No! They don't see me again."
I was put in a room on the top floor, not what I paid for, with an interior door between us and the people next to our bedroom. The group watched hard TV until early morning, we could hear them until late and how they walked on the creaking wooden floor. A cleaner checked me into my room because no one else was there. I had to look for lights because the switch is behind the bed. That bedroom's bed was horrible, rock hard and it shook around when you turned, it wasn't level with the floor. We hardly slept at all, the toilet seat ring was broken, the shower smelled and the shower had no shower head either. The place is in the middle of town, right by a "taxi rank", and drunk people are shouting and shouting all night long. Cars race up and down. The pool is full of black algae and has so much chlorine in it, that my wife had to put in eye drops for me, my eye was blood red! I left with an eye and ear infection. When I came back again, I was given the time I paid for, not like the first time. The room is in the picture, it wasn't too bad, the bed was much better, and we could sleep. But again there was only a cleaner to show me where my room was, the pool was still full of leaves, and algae, and the chlorine was still just as bad. I don't think they ever test that water. I specifically took the place because it has a pool and I like swimming, I was very disappointed. The place is not worth the high rate at all, it needs work, especially on the pool and that upstairs bathroom. Sorry, but they charge the rates a guy pays in the big city, then they should be able to add the service and comfort. They only have one small cup full of milk, "we usually only give one cup of milk to one guest" oh no really, we went to buy milk at the Spar.

Outstanding hospitality! Every effort was made for our family to be roomed together. The rooms were super spacious and well-appointed. A bit short on cupboard space in the one family room, but otherwise, everything is so comfy and cleaned. Loved the welcome bag with the complimentary water.

Neat, clean and good linen/towels. Friendly reception and delicious breakfast. The guest bathroom smelled awfully good and the dining area was very nicely decorated. The parking is relatively safe. The air conditioner in the room did not cool down much, and there were also no alternative lights in the room for load shedding/power cuts, which happened right then after a downpour of rain.
Friendly staff and although a mistake was made in calculating my charge, a refund is forthcoming.
As a stopover, it was very convenient. Attention should be paid to the shower head; it needs some de-calcifying. Late at night, we experienced loud shouting behind our room, which was most probably caused by staff members. Very irritating.

Despite rumors of an unsafe town, we felt very safe. There is a security guard on duty. Staff are very friendly and honest, and even offered to post a pillow that we forgot. Rooms very neat and clean. I would recommend it to anyone who needs to sleep over on a trip.
Thank you very much for the wonderful stay. The room was super clean and we were received very kindly. There was a guard looking after vehicles in the evening which was very reassuring. Terebinte is also on the main route, so there is no unnecessary detour. It was convenient that the Spur is across the road. If I ever pass by again I will definitely stay at Terebinte again.

The guest house is very comfortably located on the main route of N14 in Kuruman with very friendly and helpful reception. The breakfast you order extra is more than enough to keep you going all day and is personally served by the owner.

It was not the first time, nor will it be the last, that I spend the night at Terebinte (old stone quarry).
The units are well equipped and the gardens are beautiful. Unfortunately, 3 of the 5 units did not have hot water, which is why I took one star away from value for money. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. The units are right across the spur, so dinner was quickly sorted. If we pass through Kuruman again, I will definitely sleep at Terebinte again.

Terebinte is lovely and fairly safe. It is not safe to enter the gate. This was my only disappointment.

Ek was net teleurgesteld in die WiFi-sterkte. Met die besigheidsreis kon ek nie eers my eposse aflaai met die WiFi nie. Ek het ook die personeel in kennis gestel maar hulle kon niks omtrent dit doen nie.
Unfortunately, the family room has a transparent bathroom door which is impractical, especially for a family with children. The floors were not very clean either.
Would not visit Kuruman again, totally run down and very disappointing.

Chair broken in one room and ironing board broken in another room. Pool was an eyesore. Spur across the street was a plus.
A part of the guest house was burnt down and has not been repaired. The room was clean and tidy and the service acceptable. The yard, outdoor furniture and maintenance of the garden are strong on the downhill road. The location is in the middle of a very dirty business district.
Fantastic guest house for groups and individuals. Really friendly service and very welcoming. Easy for an overnight stay when travelling through to a further destination. Spur right across the road.

Klipwerf was an oasis for us in Kuruman. They are located in such a way that one can walk to many restaurants to get something to eat. It's noisy outside in the street, but wonderfully peaceful inside the grounds. Rooms were lovely!! Will recommend for sure.

We stayed overnight at Klipwerf on our way to our seaside holiday. The rooms are spacious and super clean. There is everything you need. The hostess went out of her way to make us feel at home. The location is very good as it is close to the Spar, the Spur and other shops/restaurants.

Comfortable overnight stay close to Spar, Spur, McDonalds and KFC for eating. The unit was comfortable for take away meals. As a family we were able to eat around the table with enough cutlery provided.

The restaurant (Spur) just opposite the street, makes the guest house's location very convenient and guests don't have to worry about finding a meal. 7. The convenience of just leaving the key in a safe container, allows guests to depart at whatever time suits them.

This is a fantastic guest house. It's beautiful and clean. The room was perfect with a nice bed for a weary traveler. The garden is a loop court. And the breakfast was the best ever. Location within walking distance of restaurants is another asset. Safe parking and friendly service. Was sorry we couldn't stay longer.

My husband and I were very happy with our room, but my daughter and mother were not. One tap of the sink was loose and kept running. The room was also very dark. The pool's water had been dirty.

It was a very short visit to the guest house, but it was very peaceful and relaxing. The facility is well appointed and we also received excellent service from the receptionist. She informed us of all the attractions in the area. She was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit the guest house again if we are so fortunate in the future ... will definitely recommend Klipwerf.

A great stop over in Kuruman . The rooms were spotless and modern with lovely restful decor and really spacious . Adequate safe parking and a pleasant garden with braai and pool facilities. we were very happy with our accommodation and will definitely book at Klipwerf Guest House again.
The rooms were neat, the linen clean, and he carried cutlery, plates and everything. Cherry on top he also went to buy wood for us to barbecue, so I would happily recommend the place.

The accommodation is reasonable, but the area is not safe. It is actually very dangerous to walk to any of the businesses in the area and even worse after sunset.
The reception was good. However, the floors were not clean. It looks clean, but the children's feet are dirty after walking on the floors. The floors need a good scrub. The glass bathroom door does not work for a traveling family. Everyone in the room can see the person in the bathroom, taking a shower or using the toilet. Definitely very uncomfortable.

The family room had everything we needed. Lovely grounds and setting, considering it is in the middle of town on a busy road. The bathroom needs a bit of fixing up but the lady at reception did apologise for the state of the bath due to previous work that was done that caused it to look like it did (cracked & stained) & the hand held shower needed replacing too. Would recommend it. We didn't have breakfast, but the dining area was very presentable. Thank you!
