Very nice, tidy and also located outside the town, really worth it for an overnight stop between JHB and Cape Town. Will stop here again for sure! Very friendly staff.
Wonderful place and would stay there again anytime.
Very nice stay, safe and clean.
It was a great overnight stay and we are looking forward to making the stay an extended one in the future.
We slept great, everything was clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and went the extra mile for us. Thank you very much.
What a pleasant place, clean and with all the animals; you feel like you are in the forest.
Splendid in every way. Really super service and a great stay over. Will use them again.
Definitely the right place to spend the night! Very friendly and good service! Beautiful and clean and very nice chalets, for one or more guests! Nice braai place and well equipped for 'self-catering'. Shop has the necessary for emergencies, restaurant delicious breakfast when the 'lazy-geid' kicks in!
Very nice place, and the best service. Thank you, the roasts and peel paths were excellent.
A treasure in the middle of the Western Cape.
We enjoyed the silence of nature, even saw some antelopes during our time there. There was a nice big lawn by the stables where we slept.
The overnight stay was wonderful. Upon our arrival, Ouboet, the giraffe, greeted us by standing by our little house. The scenery around our house was breathtaking not to mention the springboks and giraffes that stayed within eye distance. The breakfast the next morning as well as the reception from the staff was excellent and beautiful and we will definitely come and stay at Teri-Lemveli again.
Clean, nice and comfortable.
Very neat, comfortable and hospitable!
Very nice stay, and fried.
We stopped over on our way to George and the location was ideal.
Everything you need for an overnight stay on the way to the sea, beautiful surroundings, friendly staff. Clean and tidy.
We had a nice stay.
Had a nice stay, kids next door just made noise. Breakfast could have more vegetarian choices, e.g. yogurt and fruit, included.
Very well appointed accommodation with everything one needs for an overnight stay.
Very nice visit on a well-kept, tidy farm. Very cute little shop with everything you need and good meat.
Everything was very neat, there may only be 2 pillows per guest please.
Out of town in a beautiful game lodge setting. Quiet and peaceful. Recommended to all.
It was peaceful and very clean and neat. Had all we needed.
Comfortable and neat. Good overnight stay in nature on the way to Cape.
Had a wonderful stay. Very friendly host. Nice little shop with plenty to choose from. Perfect location.
Was delicious. Neat and friendly staff.
We stayed there only one night, units are very clean and tidy. There was not much hot water, perhaps due to load shedding. I would recommend Teri-Lemveli.
You can also see animals! And the most amazing stars.
Loved this stop-over. Everything was perfect, with friendly service on arrival. Loved meeting the cattle, dog, they lifted my spirits. Thank you, will definitely be back, it's a great stop-over.
Teri-Lemveli is very easily accessible from the N1 making it perfect for travelers between Gauteng and the Western Cape. Very good value for money and the store stocks all essentials which makes it very convenient.
We received a very kind and warm welcome from Sanette. Our room was very very clean and comfortable. We also had a lovely breakfast the next morning. Will definitely stay again!
Peaceful surroundings, nice walking trails to stretch your legs. Cool off in the pool.
The stay was calming.
Highly recommend to everyone who likes the Karoo atmosphere. The facilities are of high quality, the people are friendly and you feel welcome there.
We stayed in a cute little house with everything you need. It was nice clean and tidy and we enjoyed it. You can hear the trucks very late in the evening, but maybe it was just the house where we stayed. We were well received and will stay there again.
Outstanding. Very friendly staff with exceptional accommodation. 5 star accommodation!
Can possibly erect carports for vehicles at cottages.
The bathroom and kitchen area are a little small. The bathroom is difficult to move around in as a pensioner.
Great for an overnight stay.
The staff are hospitable and friendly. Small shop on site with the necessities.
The chalets were well furnished. We spent Christmas there. The children really enjoyed the pool and play area. We enjoyed the game drive too, didn't expect it, the road was well maintained. Felt very safe and it was a nice place to visit between Cape Town and Gauteng. Will definitely visit again.
Was awesome. Will go again and again and again. Amazing atmosphere. Amenities are great. Units are neat. Definitely a mark on our map to stop at every time.
Pleasantly surprised, will stay again for sure.
The braai area where you can throw a little meat on the coals, with a view of your own piece of Karoo, is a winner. We are happy to recommend Teri Lemveli, also for guests who want to stay longer.
Next time around we will definitely stay much longer. Excellent service, amazing lodge and accommodation, beautiful surroundings. Gardens very neat. Everything top notch. An oasis indeed. We will be back!
Sanet receives us like old friends. Teri-Lemveli is perfectly located and the chalet is comfortable, spotless and has a beautiful view. Definitely our favorite stopover from Bloemfontein to the Cape.
Teri-Lemveli Lodge certainly did not disappoint us, residential units are very clean and tidy, private and have a nice view, nice porch to sit on and braai everything you need is in the residential unit. The little shop is well equipped, we didn't use the restaurant but the restaurant looks very good and cosy. You may drive through the countryside, but there is not much wildlife. I would definitely recommend Teri-Lemveli Lodge.
What makes the place nice is the space outside, the swimming pool facilities as well as the braai facilities. Children enjoy it the most. Thank you for the good reception and communication. De Bruyns family.
We have already spent the night here several times, each time a nice experience for us and the children. Easily accessible from the N1, but located so that the traffic is not heard at all. Safe and comfortable circular walking route to stretch legs after long sitting. Winkeltjie has enough of everything one might need.
We had a lovely walk on the farm after checking in quickly and the service was friendly and helpful.
Very central on the way to the Cape. Away from town and its sounds. Beautiful massive pond.
It was a particularly nice time with you. Had a very friendly reception, the place to stay is nice and clean and very comfortable as well as the layout of the braai place. The route from the game farm can perhaps be changed into a circular route. Beautiful animals and beautiful surroundings to relax and walk around.
Perfect location, beautiful scenery.
Upon our arrival we were told that we were in one of the stable rooms. The stable rooms are exactly what they say, a row of units (like stables) all connected together - very little privacy. The unit we booked on the website clearly said it was a family unit for 3 (which we booked), and it was a separate unit from the guest house/B&B. We took it up with the management and explained that there was a mistake somewhere. They assured us that this was the unit we had booked. They were very helpful and would have liked to help put us in a detached unit, but unfortunately they were full. The manager later brought us a bottle of wine to apologize for the misunderstanding.
Accommodation was well equipped, tidy and comfortable.
Should not be advertised as a 5 sleeper. Only sleeps 4 the fold down couch is awful. Thankfully we were given another cottage so we could sleep all 5 of us although there was a minimal extra charge.
Everything was neat and clean and we felt very welcome.
We were there during the great flood and it was an experience we will always cherish. Will go back again anytime. Friendly service and a beautiful place.
Sanette and her team's service was awesome.
Excellent service and would stay there again!
It is a real paradise to spend the night. Reception staff go out of their way to ensure your comfort.
We always enjoy T-L as a stopover on the way to the Cape, but would enjoy staying for a few days as well. The lodge is comfortable and breakfast is a must. Winkeltjie has everything one needs.
We had a very nice overnight stay. We were kindly received and had everything we needed in our chalet. The view and tranquility were wonderful and the perfect place to recharge our batteries.
Friendly reception and delicious breakfast. Thank you very much, we really enjoyed it. Nice barbecue in the cold weather and rooms were clean and very tidy.
Stukkie paradys in die Karoo.
This is now a piece of paradise on earth. We got much more than we expected from the main entrance until we left it again. The giraffes that came to visit us. Als was in great condition would definitely stay there again.
Terrific and awesome getaway place from all the noise of the city. Loved it.
Comfortable and tidy chalet and nice braai area on the veranda with a nice view. It is like an oasis in the arid Karoo. There is a lot of wildlife, especially at the dam. We were also able to experience a beautiful Karoo sunset. The shop and restaurant area is also nice. However, we didn't have time for their breakfast. Perhaps only two negative points: DStv does not offer all channels, while the dam can only be reached on foot. Older people who have difficulty walking (like me) would like to drive closer to also experience the animal life at the dam.
Our visit in the Cape was full of adversity and therefore the lovely peaceful chalet at Teri-Lemveli Lodge was just what we needed, before we started the journey home. I will go there again but this time want to stay for more than one night.
The room is comfortable, very neat and exactly what we needed for self-catering overnight accommodation. The reception is friendly and warm with very good service at the house. The area (and game) invites you, even after a 12-hour drive, to still put on your trainers and go for a walk. We really enjoyed the visit.
Clean, comfortable accommodation.
The stable rooms are really ideal for a getaway with your loved one. The braai areas, many to choose from, are perfectly situated to experience a bit of the forest.
For same price I had a chalet previously, so if going again I would not book the stables as kitchen was tiny and not practical. If was raining only had a tiny microwave to cook with.
Units are neat. Hospitable reception.
We were a group of 6 adults. The housing was very neat, but rather suitable for 4 than 6 adults as 2 have to sleep on a sofa bed in the lounge area and it was inconvenient. Other than that we had a great time.
Had to drive quite a distance to get to the stable unit.
The place is ideally located for holidaymakers who want to spend the night between Gauteng and Cape Town. We luckily chose 2 nights to fully enjoy the facilities. Would recommend the place anytime.
Teri Lemveli is indeed an oasis, easy to get to from the N1 with the most beautiful chalets - clean and very tidy with everything you might need. The people are friendly and helpful. The shop has something of everything and the pool was heavenly after the long drive. The setting is beautiful and it already makes you feel like you are on vacation. Our family had a great night there, went for a walk and slept so well.
A lovely swim, braai and walk after a long drive. We loved the birds and the view of the lake.
The only place we ever spend the night. Will always return. Beautiful views, animals and comfortable accommodation.
Stayed here a few years ago and will again! Stayed in one of the cottages - neat, well furnished (except for 2 drawers in the kitchen that couldn't be opened at all?), wonderfully peaceful with the most beautiful view. The little shop keeps a good stock of things that one might need. Nice comfortable and safe circular route for walking or cycling.
What a particularly beautiful place with the finest chalets that are well equipped. It is neat and clean and it is just a pleasure to stay there.
We stayed at Teri-Lemveli for three nights and enjoyed every moment. The unit was comfortable, spotless and fully equipped. The beds sleep wonderfully. The swimming pool offers a great experience and there is a play area with swings and a slide for children. We saw sables, springbucks, a waterbuck and chamoisbucks when we went for a walk or sat on the communal 'deck' just before sunset. The braai place on the stoep is very comfortable and we had a great time watching the stars in the evening. We drove to the Karoo National Park one day and can definitely recommend it to people who like beautiful landscapes. We also saw a lot of animals (including ibex, large tortoises, chamois, a rock jumper and moose). The manager, Sanette,'s Australian cattle dog, Asjas, also gave us a lot of joy. Sanette was also very nice and helpful. The only negative aspect I can highlight, but which definitely should not discourage you from using the accommodation, is that the stairs to the attic room are very steep and you should be careful if older people or children are part of your company .
Nice location to explore the area.
Very nice overnight stop. Actually, much more than just that. Rooms were painfully neat!
Teri-Lemveli's entrance is from the N2. Friendly reception and the cottages are well equipped and offer a beautiful view of the surroundings. It's worth getting up early to see the two giraffes lazily walking around. While we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, we watched the sable bellies and springboks eating. Teri-Lemveli is the ideal destination when traveling between the Cape and wherever you live.
Our stay was very nice. Was only there for one night but at least was able to walk around the farm and do the hiking trail. We stayed in chalet which is near the reception. It was very clean and had more than enough bedding and self catering stuff. However, we didn't see many animals except springbok and giraffe in the distance. The walking route is about 3 km and worth doing. Halfway around the dam and back. Only negative is that the little shop is quite expensive. But if you don't come with anything it's nice to be able to buy there, but be aware the meat etc is not cheap. What I can recommend is to perhaps have a map in the cottages or in the office to show where what is on the farm. One walks around and does not really know where to look and where not to look. Went back to reception though to hear where we can and can't walk.
Very nice surroundings, neat units.
Nice driving around and wildlife viewing. Chalets very neat and well furnished. A definite overnight stop.
Will use their facility again.
You have to drive 4 km on the farm to reach the dormer type accommodation, but you cross a dam wall and see a couple of antelope, so it's a nice experience altogether.
Thanks for everything. Would like to see that there is an extra air conditioner in the bedroom in the chalet. Otherwise very nice thanks, will stop there again.
I will not stay at the Teri-Lemveli again. The pictures are not misleading and we have to drive 4 km into the forest to get to our room. If I had known I had to drive the winding road back to town to get dinner, which is not served by the guest house, I would not have spent the night there. A disappointing night.
Teri-Lemveli Lodge is a gem of a place. Away from all the hustle and bustle. A place to blow off steam after a long day on the road! Everything was clean and tidy and the children could swim and get rid of all their accumulated energy with great safety! Breakfast was delicious and the reception and hospitality was something you don't get every day! Will stay there again and again for sure!
The accommodation is extremely neat and clean, the staff very friendly and the location just right for an overnight stay on the way to the Cape from the Rand.
Thank you Sanette, everything was perfect and very nice. Will definitely stop by you again!
Teri-Lemveli is a place we will definitely visit again. Room very well equipped and very clean and tidy. Reception very friendly and excellent.
Our stay was really very nice. The service was great, the store has most necessities. The reception on arrival was excellent. The units are neat and very comfortable. Will definitely stay there again.
Friendly service, beautiful and clean rooms and facilities. Will definitely stay there again.
We had a very nice stay. The accommodation was very comfortable and the staff were friendly. The braai package and salad we bought from their shop was very tasty.
It is so peaceful there. The beds also sleep very well. Well equipped.
Would definitely recommend the stay. Very clean and tidy. Value for money. The shop is very well equipped with everything you might need.
I forgot my padkos (biltong) in the fridge and they kept it for me to pick up in passing on our return trip. The whole area is very well maintained and clean. They had a good rain so veld and animals should benefit, saw Sable on our return trip.
We stayed at Teri-Lemveli Lodge for visiting Karoo NP, which is virtually on the other side of the road. There is a convenient distance between the chalets and the N1, and because the terrain is declining it’s difficult to hear anything from the N1. Chalets are up to date, clean and fully equipped. Very friendly staff and owners. Terrain has its own lake and abundance of animals walking around, we especially liked the giraffes. The pool area is a big plus. Very nice to cool down in the pool on hot days! We would have stayed longer if we could. Highly recommended!
It is very neat and clean, unit well equipped with everything you need for self-catering. Sanette made us feel very welcome, she is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. We will definitely recommend you, and stay there again.
What a surprise. One of the very best guest houses/farms we have ever stayed at, with very good facilities, neat and very beautiful!
Very hospitable and offers help immediately.
The residential unit was neat and clean, nice peaceful atmosphere, the animals are cute to see.
Lovely overnight stay or even a few days. Here is everything you need. I could enjoy everything here during my short visit. What I lacked was available in the shop - it makes travelling very enjoyable if you don't have to bring everything along. I will visit again because it is so conveniently close to the N1.
The only problem that can be is that the highway (N1) is a bit close, with noise from trucks when the wind blows the wrong way, breaking the Karoo tranquility.
See stars.
Slept and visited very well, nice space for children.
Well appointed self-catering chalets. Neat and clean. However, the shower's layout spills a lot of water around the bath area. Nice overnight accommodation and beautiful starry night. However, it can be offered at a more reasonable price or include a simple breakfast.
Our stay there was wonderful, location and view beautiful, with a bonus of wildlife to see such as my favorite the kudu. Was really nice, will go again.
We got a friendly welcome. Self-catering chalet well equipped and clean. Beds are comfortable. Close to Karoo National Park. We stayed three nights and truly had nothing to complain about. Thank you for a lovely stay! Will be back.
The chalets are well equipped, have sufficient aircon and give a feeling of peace and quiet after 'n long journey.
Nice environment. Stable rooms could be cleaned better. Barn door, hard to open and close, hard to close and cobwebs hadn't been cleaned for a long time ─ other than that it's a nice place and bed is comfortable. Would prefer there to be a table to eat at. Silence and animals around accommodation bring calmness.
Was very nice and beautiful. Typical Karoo farm. Soul wanted to stay longer. Hostess very friendly and helpful.
Everything was 100% when we arrived. Friendly, helpful, neat and clean.
Friendly, warm welcome, spotless, complete chalets. You feel right at home from the moment you drive through the gate! The breakfast was outstandingly delicious. Everything from Teri-Lemveli is excellent! You see us every time on the way to Cape and again on the way back to Gauteng! P.S. already booked ready for next visit to the Cape and we usually test a new place every time, but no longer in the Beaufort West area. Rate very affordable! Fantastic, keep it up, you guys!
Was fantastic! My wife and I and our three adult children spent the night there. The Chalet is excellently equipped with everything you can think of that you might need. Excellent value for money! Will, and will, for sure spend the night there again! Incredibly friendly people.
What a lovely surprise, enjoyed the silence and stars around a nice braai. Was able to buy everything from the office to make the delicious braai a reality. The road stop really felt like a vacation.
Teri-Lemveli is a neat destination and we enjoyed the most delicious breakfast there. There is a pool for children and a braai area at your chalet and also at the pool. Two timid giraffes also came to see what the new guests were up to.
The braai packs and goodies in the shop are a great idea and we loved the surprise visit from the kittens! The breakfast was excellent too. I feel awareness needs to be raised with regards to the water shortage in the area. The only constructive criticism would be that the expectations from the website is that this is a game lodge - perhaps focus on being a guest lodge rather - with bush, sky and peaceful surroundings.
We overslept on the way to Cape Town from Pretoria. Place was about 1000 km and perfect for an overnight stay. It was very hot and chalet was wonderfully cool with thatched roof and AC. Shop has everything and more. Swimming pool was nice and breakfast delicious. It is also perfect for visiting Karoo NP. Thank you Sanette and staff, you are great!
It was a lovely surprise to find such an oasis in the middle of the Karoo. Friendly and helpful service. Shop well equipped and lovely breakfast. Very clean and everything needed for self-catering.
Upon our arrival, we were received so kindly, it made us feel like we were staying with our parents. Our unit was wonderfully warm and equipped with the best you need, even more. The traffic from the N1 was annoying, but we have to admit that there was a strong wind blowing from that direction. We will definitely stay there again, on the contrary, will stay for a day or two next time.
Clean, tidy accommodation, close to main road, but no noise from traffic - making it an ideal accommodation option. Swimming pool makes the hot summer bearable!
The rooms are neat and very well equipped. Their barbeque packs are very tasty karoo meat and curry roasts were delicious.
Facilities were nice, clean and very tidy and we enjoyed the evening in the Karoo with the wildlife! Will definitely stay here again.
Location is ideal, place to stay very tidy, convenient that there is a shop with all necessary items. Access controlled, very secure.
Was a great, restful time.
Very friendly service. The shop has everything one needs for a dinner if one has not come to the shops to buy dinner. Room very neat and clean. We had a really nice stay.
The pool was lovely after a long day on the road. We could surround braai with the field and night life. The converted stable accommodation does mean you will hear your neighbor on arrival and departure.
We don't spend the night at the same place twice (just for the fun of experiencing new places), but we will struggle to pass this place! Comfortable and clean, with everything you could need in the house. Nice braai place with the most beautiful view. Everyone went to cool off in the pool and the long, hot road was soon forgotten. Cute shop at reception with everything you could need for an evening or even weekend there. Stays open until late and prices are also very reasonable, I was surprised! Great, peaceful sleep. Thank you, service from Sandra at Teri-Lemveli was excellent.
Accommodation was clean and tidy with everything needed for an overnight stay. DStv could watch Super 15 rugby final. Wood, meat and beer available at very reasonable prices. Had a nice stay, visited the Karoo National Park, saw a lot of wildlife.
Very nice accommodation and everything you need.
Had a lovely little visit to Cape Town, was wonderful to see the Karoo in rain! Unit was perfect, very good value for money.
Our stay there was really nice. The room was neat and had everything one needs. Would definitely recommend Teri-Lemveli.
The unit was very well equipped and the braai in the pool protected us from the wind. Delicious Karoo silence.
Comfortable, comfortable chalet with everything you need. After a long day of travel, the hot shower and comfortable bed were excellent. We had a very nice stay. With the braai facilities at each chalet, next time we will stay for a day to enjoy more of the Karoo.
Very neat, interesting finishes in room. Love the polished copper water pipes! Tranquility and friendly staff are recommended! Visitors can be notified of the WiFi arrangements in advance.
Quiet, neat, clean and tasty lamb chops. Breakfast was also very good.
We enjoyed the hospitality and the tranquility after a day of traveling.
Very close to the N1 (almost too close), but a good place to sleep over or even to stay for longer since they offer all kinds of activities.
Houses are well equipped for an overnight stop.
True Karoo gem. Were able to order braai packs, wood, drinks and salads. Very nice place.
We had a nice stay. Management was very helpful.
Very pleasant and peaceful stay.
Teri-Moja is an absolute pleasure to experience and works well as overnight accommodation. Facilities and reception excellent.
Enjoyed the ostriches and cattle walking around between the houses. The family next door's small children had fun swimming and frolicking on the "jungle gym".
Very easy to get. Close to main road and very quiet.
Will stay there again for sure!
Sandra was very helpful and friendly. Units clean and comfortable.
A wonderful peaceful place to spend the night that can also be used as a place to visit. Will definitely use their services again. Maybe only coffee, tea and milk can be provided for 1 night's needs.
We were warmly received and received a very spacious unit for our overnight stay. Everything was neat and clean and we were able to replenish our supply of wood for our barbecue at reception. We will certainly use this establishment again.
See the stars.
Very neat little house near the N1, but far enough to experience the tranquility of the Karoo. There is everything you need. Just a pity you need power to get hot water (Beurtkrag). Maybe gas/solar generators would work better. We will come again!
Many thanks to our hostess! Keep it up, the care with which you perform your duties will keep travelers coming back again and again. We had a very nice stay. The house was comfortable and very clean and tidy.
This is a very nice game lodge and would highly recommend it.
Easy access to the Karoo National Park.
Everyone should stop at least once on the way to the Cape, instead of driving straight through. Very nice.
Just one thing, there is no air conditioning! It was over 40 degrees the day of our stay, couldn't sleep!
We were very disappointed that the cottage did not even have coffee and tea or anything in it. We had to go and buy matches ourselves at the little shop, which also sells braai sets at an expensive price. This is a nice place to stay, but bring everything except bedding. Beyond that there is nothing.
I only have one concern and that is safety. Any person can enter the premises from the N1 as there is no gate that is locked. Still, I didn't feel unsafe, but I don't think one should defy fate.
Op pad terug of na WP? Dit is 'n lekker plekkie om te oornag. Swembad was noodsaaklik vir die ongenaakbare hitte. Ongelukkig het hul nie lugversorging nie, maar waaiers wel.
Very conveniently located. Can cool off in the pool after a long day behind the wheel.
A lot of money for little value compared to similar accommodation. Unbelievable mosquito infestation - no prior mention of it and no visible efforts to combat it (mosquito netting, surfboards, etc.). Beautiful surroundings with lots of birds. Slightly close to the N1's truck traffic overnight.
Calm and relaxed.
The smallest TV I have ever seen in my life. I understood from the description that I had access to DStv, but there was only SABC.
See the stars.
Very nice place to stay!
Neat units, well equipped for self-help, easy barbecue area on the front porch. Great swimming in the pool. Negative: hiking route is indicated on information sheets, but is difficult to follow for hikers in the woods. Access to units is not wheelchair friendly. It offers good value for money.
Only SABC stations available (only 2). Power went out shortly after our arrival. Variety of food at small shop on premises very scant. If we had known, we could have found something to eat on Beaufort West.
