Terrace Lofts photo is deceptive. This must be a very old photo. A newer room has been built, in front the units shown, since the picture was taken. We arrive just as loadshedding kicked in. We were supplied with a small torch. Loadshedding is a fact of life in South Africa. Surely some form of back up light could be provided? We had to go out and purchase candles. The basin in the bathroom leaked something terrible. The shower door is broken and leaks on, an already, wet floor. No foot towel is supplied. The glass around the light in the bathroom is also broken. The basin in the kitchen has had some acid spilled on the stainless steel and is in a bad state. One of the bedside lights shade was missing. The property could do with an exceedingly good cleaning. No toiletries are offered either. The door to our unit could not be locked. The sliding gate into the property is out of order and anyone off the street could enter. The anti-theft bracket on the sliding gate is broken and the sliding gate has not been used, with a remote, for a very long time. The WiFi did not work while we were there.
A home away from home, lovely host that was available when we had questions. Loved the beautiful, manicured gardens. Thank you for a beautiful stay, it was my second stay there, after many years it was good to see a couple of improvements. See you soon.
Neat, but no tea, coffee or sugar available. Bedside lamps for reading also insufficient.

The overriding impression was how efficiently the unit was equipped. Brilliant use of space, friendly staff and I would definitely want to stay there again!

Accommodation was neat, clean and reception was good. Suggestion: Towels in bathrooms were small and few (1 medium and 1 small face towel). Towels were too few for 2 persons/room.
The place is not for senior citizens, the sleeping place was in the loft, would have been better if there was a double bed on the ground level.
Units are well equipped. We had a nice stay. Thank you. The parking area is 'great' for cars but definitely not good for motorbikes.
When I arrived I waited outside for 15 minutes before being helped, I was told that they had double booked and that I could no longer get the place I had booked, paid for and confirmed. I was taken to a field house to sleep there, I refused because I was a woman alone and did not want to sleep in the field house, after many calls I was taken back to the main compound where I was put in a two bedroom accommodation. Which wasn't too unpleasant then, it was clean and tidy as I expected.
Little things that need attention. Had to wait 10 min in front of the gate. There is no gate intercom and had to call and wait. There was no coffee either, only tea with no milk. Extra little things that would make it more enjoyable. Otherwise very clean and quiet.
There is no bell outside to let you know you have arrived. We never formally checked in or out, so there was always the nagging thought of whether they really knew we were here. The place is very neat, but needs some attention. The cupboards whose drawers do not fit well, crooked walls or doors, etc. The stairs in the unit are very steep. The cooing of the pigeons in the early morning was fantastic.
In double room with shared kitchen. For 4 people only had 2 chairs, 2 cups and 2 teaspoons. Seemed like they weren't aware we were booking.
I am disappointed in the accommodation, I knew the previous owner and it is now a disappointment. We discovered a half a cup of cooldrink in the fridge, the roof in the bathroom was full of mold. We got one towel for 2 people, the lady helping us was not helpful at all, hard knocking on our door at 6:00 in the morning. We did not even stay in the accommodation we booked. I will never stay there again.
Was only disappointed with the pool, but the reception came to our rescue.

I was actually moved to another place due to Terrace Loft being full. Went to an even lovelier place called Apple Dew Accommodation. Thanks for the service received.
We were fortunate to be given the en suite. Very comfortable and spacious with a very lovely garden all around. Minor problems to be attended to by owner: aircon tripping on fault error, dress room lights not working and noisy extraction fan in bathroom.
