4 guests' feedbackIt's a very nice unit with everything you'll need, maybe pack a fan. Als is comfortable and works very well. We didn't have any problems. The power was indeed turned off at 9:15 on Sunday even though the clock says 10:00 (not sure if it was a power cut). Otherwise there is nothing else to complain about. The view is beautiful and the pool very nice to cool off in. I will go back.
House is well furnished. Nice walk on the porch. Was worried that we would get cold, because we had a cold front over the weekend, but the house has been warm and toasty since the sun peeked over the horizon.
The house is lovely and the pool is big compared to other units. The beds are extremely comfy, however the pillows are so big and high it makes for sore necks the next day. There is no boma which is such a pity as there is plenty of space for one and for us as a family that is the best part of being in the bush at night. The house is very private and offers peace and quiet for miles with stunning views. The cleaning service charge in the booking is for services of cleaning the house after you have left. If you want cleaning done it is an extra charge daily of R250. There is a R1000 refundable breakages fee that is refundable, however we waited a week to get it back after asking for it twice. Our only major complaint was that the sewerage was leaking and it made sitting outside or swimming impossible because of the smell. We did alert Lynette to the matter and she said someone would come out the next day. We don't know if anyone did as we were on game drives most of the day. The evening when we returned the smell was worse and coming into the house from all the drains. Eating dinner was very difficult. We had to light a wood fire in the braai room to try mask the smell. Unfortunately this has put us off wanting to go back there.

House rules
Housekeeping is available on request at an additional cost per service.Any breakages or damages due to negligence by the guests exceeding the breakage deposit will be for the guest's account.
Parties, as well as loud noise and disturbances after 22:00, are not allowed. During the day, music is allowed for your ears only.
A game drive vehicle is available on request.
Rubbish to be kept in the lodge or bins provided and rubbish will be removed when housekeeping services Please refrain from moving furniture around except for pool loungers and folding chairs. This damages the deck.
Please place all crockery and cutlery in the lodge before retiring at night and before departing.
All doors and windows must be locked when guests leave the premises.
All windows are to be closed and all doors are to be locked on departure.
Lodge keys are not allowed to be removed from the property and have to be locked in the key safe, even if you are going on a game drive.
The use of drones is not permitted.
Unfortunately, pets cannot be accommodated.
Fire is only allowed in the designated areas; braai and boma.
Firewood for the boma and braai area can be pre-ordered for delivery at the lodge at an additional cost per bag.
No firewood is to be collected from the veld.
Beer bottles, caps, cigarette butts, etc thrown in the veld will be cleaned at an additional charge to the guest.
Some roads in the reserve are not tarred, and it is recommended to use a vehicle with a high clearance when possible.
