12 guests' feedbackOn arrival our reservation was not confirmed. Our room was not ready. The receptionist chews "chappies" with her mouth open when she talks to you. It's just poor service from them.
Is written self-catering but there is no microwave and our room didn't have a kettle for coffee thought they would see that on the second day as they cleaned the room but they didn't, had to ask for it, even the sheets had dirty stains, they didn't change them after they cleaned, they didn't give us the Wi-Fi password.
It was neat and clean. Very nice place and value for money.
It was a very nice stay. A bit of explore.
Thabeng was close to the N1 and is a perfect stopover. Staff were very helpful and professional. Several shops nearby.

That place is not nice.
First, the water is cut off, but no one told us ahead of time and they don't have bottled water! Second, it says there is a security that will open gate, but after we stood at the gate for 10 minutes I had to call them to open. Third, the bedding had marks on it. Fourth, they have 4 stars on their "board" before you go in, but believe me it's like a 2 star, max.
Accommodation was reasonable with only minor points that bothered, such as the sink not having a plug and the bedside light not having a bulb. Unfortunately, we realized this too late to notify the manager. Our only real complaint is the fact that the pool had no water in it. The reservation was made precisely so that we could cool off in the pool after a long day's travel.
But the air-con was broken and messed everywhere. When we complained they just told us to put a towel down. To our shock they'd provided only one. No extra towels, no extra coffee, etc. When I went back to reception no one was there. The next morning the toilets did not work. We also didn't know if the restaurant was open after inquiring whether we should book or not. When I mentioned it to the owner there was just a list of excuses sent. Disappointed about service.
It was a pleasure since I arrived until I left. Clean, quiet, lovely spacious room. Good restaurant that's walking distance and it's safe to walk.
On arrival we struggled to get hold of reception. After returning later, there was also no person at reception. Room door could not lock from inside. None of the bedside lamps worked. There is no DStv, small fridge, hairdryer, heater or air conditioner as indicated on the description and the WiFi does not work. Would definitely not advise anyone to sleep there and the description of all the amenities in the room is disappointingly misleading.
