The stay was indeed very pleasant and everyone enjoyed the time.
We experienced so much tranquility to be able to look at the goats from the house. The foxes calling in the evenings, with other nightlife was so welcome. The house is spacious, with nice and comfortable decor, and has everything one needs. Dawie was helpful and a friendly host. We really enjoyed the stay, and will definitely go again.

What a lovely place less than an hour from home. We loved the pool in the heat and had a lovely braai while looking at the game at feeding time. The house is clean and really very comfortable in all areas. See you soon.
The place is a gem away from the daily hustle and bustle in nature. Everything was tidy and the house has plenty of space for our group of 11, adults and small children. Would recommend the place for sure. Our host is a very friendly man and available all the time if there were any questions.

We had a great time. The unit is perfectly equipped with everything one needs. It was lovely to wake up to the tranquility of the forest. It was clean and tidy and more than you need for a weekend getaway. We enjoyed the pool and pool table all day long. We hope to visit again soon.
Beautiful place with everything you need.
It was my husband and his twin brother's 50th birthday weekend. We were all surprised by how beautiful the place is. The rooms were spacious. The many bathrooms were definitely a winner. Thank goodness for the dishwasher. We saw goats from the front porch. The price was very fair. I would only like to stay longer.
House is very spacious and well-equipped. On request, extra wood was delivered daily. Short dirt roads that are well maintained. Alternated braai at Boma and inside. The only recommendation would be that ash gets cleaned daily.
The facilities are of the best and the owner, Dawie Fick, remains on site and responded quickly to inquiries or complaints. Load power and an area power failure were effectively addressed, also the calling of a technician to fix the washing machine where a pipe had come loose. Our family stayed here for 5 days to celebrate a special occasion and it was a great success.
Our stay was truly delightful and worth the money. Loved how secluded it was and you could blast the music without disturbing other people. The house and the overall area was peaceful and we would definitely come back again. Thank you for hosting us.

Very spacious, neat, safe and well equipped facility located in a beautiful area 30 minutes from Pretoria. Ideal for Families/Families/Friends with sleeping space for 12 people. Cleaners and gardener came in every other day. Dawie Fick was a very friendly host and always available. Would love to go back again.

Dawie was a stalwart and very helpful. We had a great time and even though we stayed in the winter we didn't even get cold at all. The place was very clean and tidy. Very spacious for all of us. The children had a great time walking and exploring the areas. We will definitely come back again!

It had rained a lot in the area the previous week, on the Friday night of our arrival it had rained almost 100 mm. This caused one or two small problems. However, the owner went out of his way to fix it quickly so we could enjoy the weekend. Thank you very much Dawie.
Just calm with everything you need, comfortable boma for a big maketie.
The host is friendly and helpful. The indoor barbecue is a bonus in winter, and extra wood is provided on request. The house and enclosed garden are spacious and private. Linen, towels and kitchen facilities are of excellent quality. We got a bit cold, the rooms are double volume with a high thatched roof which will be great for the summer. Electric blankets or even hot water bottles would help in winter, although there were plenty of blankets. We would love to come back to Thala Villa again.

The pool was so clean. The house was so clean. We had everything we needed. Fresh towels. Clean bedrooms and kitchen, everything was nice.
The environment in the place is just too good.
All the rooms are tasteful and practical. The freshly picked arrangements were also very welcoming. It is a pity that the upstairs bedroom doesn't have a bathroom. We fashioned a practical solution and had a lot of fun doing so.

We had such an awesome stay at Thala Thala Villa this last weekend. Our host, Dawie, was super helpful, accommodating and friendly, the villa was well equipped and even had a pool table for some extra fun, and the rooms were so well decorated. We were completely at home! Highly recommend!
Firstly I would like to thank Dawie, the owner, for making our stay super pleasant, being there whenever we needed assistance and giving us the privacy we needed at the same time. The villa itself is more beautiful than what is portrayed on the pictures and very clean. We really enjoyed ourselves and would most definitely do it again.
We had an amazing time! The house is clean, spacious, well equipped with a nice big kitchen. The braai room was ideal. The weekend we were there, it was very cold. The welcome and service in general had been awesome. Thala Thala Villa is close enough to Pretoria for a relaxing weekend getaway, but far enough out, it almost feels like you're in the bush. We would go back anytime!
Our expectations were exceeded, ideal for a larger family weekend. Very spacious, very tidy. Not too far from Pretoria. Will go again for sure.
