Where do I begin. It was magical, the most amazing getaway ever! The experience was out of this world. The staff was the most friendly people on earth. They were so helpful and always available to assist. They made sure you are comfortable at all times.
It was something that we had never done before. It exceeded all our expectations, and will definitely visit again.

Thali Thali is conveniently situated not too far from Cape Town. Friendly people and wonderful staff. The restaurant on the property is great and is highly recommended. I enjoyed the silence with only the birds and owls to break that silence. Fallow deer and buffalo walked among the cottages. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
We had an awesome time, a very lovely place. A 10/10. Some things to note: cellphone reception is not the best, and there are mosquitoes. But these things are to be expected given the location.

Nice place and very friendly people. They can only upgrade as far as our power outages are concerned. We couldn't shower or cook or drink coffee when the power was off as the pump for water works with electricity and there are no gas facilities either.
Definitely worth it.
The cottages could have been further from the restaurant and other facilities, as a children's party was not part of our planning when we booked - the tame goats that come to eat out of your hand make it all worth it. The fireplace is fantastic for the winter months, we had a very nice time.
I paid the balance online on Friday but by Sunday the lodge had not been paid. This caused consternation when I wanted to drive. The manager is very quick out of the blocks to argue, not worth taking anything just her up. Overall, the experience was much worse than your pretty pictures suggest. Will never stay there again.

Was there too short to enjoy everything and will definitely want to do a game drive next time. Really enjoyed the archery! Spacious tent with everything you need and nice treats. The winter is biting, but the heated bed and heater make up for it. Many thanks to everyone who goes out of their way to make this a pleasant experience!
The people's hospitality was fantastic. The restaurant's food was excellent with very large portions. All that was a pity was the very lukewarm shower water and they can invest in new beds.

Very nice break and good service
We were pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of the tented accommodation. This place is incredible value for money. The service was five star and the staff super friendly. While you're not in the most spectacular setting deep in the bush, this also has its pros when you have two young kids and can't travel far out of Cape Town but want them to experience a safari. We really did love our stay, the experience with the giraffes is one we will never forget and I would absolutely recommend Thali Thali.
My husband and I chose Thali Thali for our 12-year wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect from the welcoming drinks until the buffet breakfast in the morning before our departure. We did the game drive and the archery classes and both can be highly recommended. Our accommodation was the canvas tents and it was lovely. Beautiful decor and very cosy despite the cold weather. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful and carry you on their hands. This was really accommodation that I would cherish forever.
The silence is wonderful and if you'd like to see nature, there are games drives and other forms of entertainment. We opted for glamping and it's a winner if you aren't used to camping.
Under utilised and explored.
We had a very nice time at Thali Thali Game Lodge and were made very welcome with very good service and friendliness. So that we actually had to say goodbye with an aching heart! Many thanks to everyone at Thali Thali for your great hospitality.
The accommodation was very nice! It was our 1 year anniversary and it was such a surprise for my better half. The staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. Breakfast superb! Would love to go back there - can't wait!
My wife and I really enjoyed it! We felt a bit "out of place" on Saturday morning. The waiters were very cold! Not even asked how we wanted our eggs cooked or whether we wanted brown or white bread. Other than that we rested well. The game drive was good too!

Generally good accommodation, but if you make a fire the smoke is terrible. Good food.
We had a great time at Thali Thali! The restaurant's food was delicious and the portions were huge! The workers are friendly and very helpful. The only criticism I have is the game drive we were on. The little boy who lives there hit us with his fists on our legs and shoes and said "You are not allowed to take pictures" and "These are our animals". It put me off quite a bit.
We really enjoyed staying at the lodge. The service was great. Would recommend it for anyone seeking a very relaxing stay.
Unfortunately the showers were not up to standard, but otherwise we had a very nice stay.
If you need to break away for a while and do not want to be disturbed as a couple, this would be the ideal place! However if you are planning a get away with kids, I would not recommend, as there are not enough activities for children. A larger pool to accommodate adults, and to have the restaurant area moved to a more open space, away from the bar perhaps, would be ideal. Overall I would recommend this lodge and I think as far as marketing goes there is a lot of potential here.
