We were on our way back to Cape Town from visiting Addo. This was a wonderful stay. The cherry on top was the fact that we had full DStv. This is unique and we appreciate it. The unit was super clean, had everything we needed, beautiful in presentation with quality towels. Arriving there, Penny informed us in detail of everything we need to know. We recommend it wholeheartedly.

The house is located in a quiet area of Wildernis, about 10 minutes' walk from the sea. There are many steps down to the beach, so unfortunately not accessible to everyone. The house is spacious and tidy, well furnished and a good option for 6 people. It is also walking distance from a good little shop at the petrol station - very important for the children's daily ice creams in the summer holidays! There was plenty of hot water for everyone's showers every day and the beds were relatively comfortable (although the mattress in the master bedroom could be better). The only small negative is the fact that the property may be shared with other people, seeing that there are different units on the same site that also use the gate. So it looks like a private house and garden, but is shared. The owners are very friendly and helpful and it was easy to communicate with them.

A cute, spacious and tidy, clean, well-equipped place with good quality linen, tasteful decor and personal 'touch' and friendly attention from the owners. It is conveniently located close to Wilderness and Sedgefield Market in a quiet street. Just remember to apply the mosquito device (provided) or mosquito repellent in Wilderness. We had a very nice stay.
Quiet, peaceful getaway if you're with family or friends.
For the price the house is badly equipped. We had to deal with old, bad equipment and also had to buy things, like a bottle opener. Furthermore, they apologised beforehand that the thatched roof causes spiders and spider webs, but unfortunately it was only and excuse for a filthy house! The carpets are in need of a deep cleanse, spiders, bugs and dead moths are everywhere. The main room we slept in had a shower that hasn't been cleaned at all after the previous guests. Wouldn't come back again.
