This place is amazing and peaceful, the views are everything, the apartment was so clean, we had everything we needed, the views really made our stay. The caretaker was very helpful and friendly, she was always available to assist us whenever we needed her. France was helpful as well. I highly recommend it. The pictures are not showing the true reflection of this place, it looks way too beautiful in person.
Very quiet and safe. The management is one of the best and always wants to know if everything is ok.
We rented the very large unit. It is marketed as sleeping 4 plus 2 on "sleeper couches". We were at a horse show and invited a friend and daughter to barbecue with us. Frans called me and forced me to ask them to walk because he apparently "burned his fingers before". I don't think he serves the type of market we're in. There is also a camera looking right onto our porch which made us feel very uncomfortable. The ramp is so stylish and there is no mention of it anywhere, please stay away! Cleaning services are also extra and must be paid.

ThatchView is definitely worth the value. The apartment has one of the best view I have ever seen. The place was neat and it looks like its well taken off. Frans was such a good host and patient with us. The place looks exactly like on the photos.

Travelled with my husband and my 2 year old son. Absolutely stunning stunning views. Great location with a well equipped mall 3 km away. Harties Cableway about 1.5 km away, snake and animal park 1.5 km away. The apartment is very spacious and with a well equipped kitchen. Lovely comfy bed with electric blanket. DStv in the unit. The owner gave us some nice restaurant discount vouchers. The owner is very lovely, very warm, very welcoming and very accommodating. We had a great stay and will surely be coming back again.

Fantastic view of the dam.
Thatchview definitely has the best view over the dam. You can sit on the patio for hours and just look out over the dam. A little attention may be necessary with the crockery, cutlery and other kitchen utensils and unfortunately there was a misunderstanding regarding the WiFi, but I am sure you can sort it out, maybe with a letter on arrival. I will definitely recommend Thatchview for a quick getaway out of the city and we are looking forward to visiting them again!
