I was very impressed with the host because my husband became very ill on his first night due to food poisoning from a take-away. I phoned the host and she immediately went to check on him and help him as much as she could until he could be taken to hospital. Thank you.

Upon arrival, the friendly hostess met me at the gate and took me to my parking space. The room is properly equipped with everything needed and the hostess even offered extra coffee if the bags in the room were not enough. It is very well located as shops are within walking distance and OR Tambo airport is approximately 8 km from there. Sam, the hostess, even offered to provide a packed lunch because I already had to clock out at 04:00 to catch a flight. I would definitely recommend The Armagh Guesthouse and stay there again in the future.
Armagh offers good value for money, the rooms are comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Hooks (reflected in the various reviews) were the following: The WiFi did not work on the first day. The first room I was in (I was moved to the second day after a larger room opened) had no desk or workspace. To open the security gate to go out one has to get out of the vehicle to press the button. In a downpour it is somewhat uncomfortable and is also a security risk. The use of a remote control device will be preferred. The lack of the latter is also a risk in itself because one has to wait for the gate to close by itself.
The rooms are very neat and has everything one needs. The facilities are also very good with a beautiful swimming pool, social areas etc. The staff is very friendly and efficient - definitely a place I would stay again.
We enjoyed our short time a lot at The Armagh Guesthouse.
There was no remote control for the TV in the room, the TV's wires were hanging loosely, the shower's water was not nice, then hot then cold then hot again at intervals. But everything else was very nice and tidy.
Perfect accommodation for business or leisure stay. Spacious, neat and great value for money. The breakfast was exceptional too. Can highly recommend The Armagh Guest House.
