Everything was perfect, place was neat and tidy. Julie is an absolutely a darling! Thanks for allowing me and my family to stay there, you will see us again.

The Attic @ Waters Edge is falling apart. The smell is unbearable and the rusty things need to be replaced, the braai area is unusable.

The stay was a bit short, will visit Longer next time. The Attic is very well furnished with everything one needs. The cleaning service is excellent. Would recommend to anyone.

The advertisement is not like the accommodation itself. The website definitely needs to be updated. On arrival we were shown the accommodation. First, the security gates did not work. The wooden main door cannot lock, but only security gate can be locked with a lock. There weren't enough plates and forks but Jenny brought us the necessary ones from the apartment below us. There were also not enough glasses for the amount of people. There was no toilet paper on arrival. The braai area is also not as advertised. The grill does not fit in the braai. We were then brought a toaster but it was very dirty. The 2nd morning when we woke up we had no power. Had to wake up the other guests myself to read in the power coupon that was sent to us. The fridge/freezer was dirty. No 2-prong plugs to use the TV in the rooms. DStv wires were not even sealed. No fire extinguisher in the room. Bedding had stains. The place is not equipped for the amount of people that can be accommodated there.

The beds were sinking in the middle like a ship, which caused backache. In other rooms the curtain rail was broken - the curtains could not be drawn. We had to buy our own insecticides as the place was full of ants. There was no cleaning service, we did it ourselves. The cleaners arrived the day before our departure after we requested. The pots provided are a health risk as they are made of enamel. Good things about the place is the security, location and beautiful house.
