There are other hotels that offer much more for the same price. Environment is very busy. Seek more tranquility.
We did not enjoy the hotel and Camps Bay over the weekend and will not go again. The special offer - free extra night discount was a problem when we checked in, costs were still on the bill and we probably stood around for 20 minutes as reception tried to find out what was going on. The room is large, very comfortable and clean. The minibar is a luxury that hotels no longer provide as often. The hotel is very noisy at night (until 5 o'clock in the morning there are people returning to rooms) and in Camps Bay with the suddenly warmer weather, traffic and flow of people was a nightmare - we did not feel safe in the street. It is noisy up to the balcony of a mountain view room, you hear the staff talking loudly behind the hotel on the ground floor. Room service is expensive and average. The breakfast is good with a great variety. We did not know in advance about the R50 per day for reserved parking.
Simply the best!
Perfect location but the worst kitchen on the Garden Route.
We had to pay R80 for parking our car in the parking lot overnight, which we found totally unacceptable. Rooms also need a revamp. Otherwise, a very good stay.
