Great, so different. Relaxing. A true getaway from the city.
If you want to escape to silence, rest and peace, this is the place for you. Don't expect bright lights, music and lots of people. The beach is close but you have to drive to get there or expect to walk for a while. But that's the charm of the place. It's just you, the sea, sun, waves and seabirds. The house is cozy and tidy. Everything works and there is enough. Basic shops, nice place to eat nearby. Take a look.
Absolutely fantastic! The accommodation was well equipped, very stylish, everything we needed was right there. The view was spectacular. We were sorry to leave.
You just feel so at home! Everything is well appointed, and the place is 100% neat and clean, absolutely a pleasure, definitely going to visit again next year.

I would definitely recommend this cottage with access to a private, totally secluded beach that runs for miles and is only a short drive away. I fell in love with The Beach Cottage Kleinzee and will definitely be back with my partner. A surfer and an artist's dream location.

Although there was loadshedding and a water problems in the town, the agent accommodated with having other services to ensure that we still had these requirements.
Such thought has gone into making one's stay as comfortable as possible. Location is awesome, within easy walking distance to the beach and 'town center'. We'll definitely be back!

The beach cottage is very comfortable and modernly furnished, all the amenities you need and more. The indoor barbecue area was fantastic for those windy cold Cape days. We found it really enjoyable.

Too far from the sea, just a pity you have to drive to the sea. The 60 km dirt road is quite a challenge.
Kleinsee is a village that I would unfortunately not recommend as a holiday destination. There is simply nothing to do and the roads are bad. No eateries are open except the tin plate otherwise it's like a prison. You may not drive anywhere. It seems that the museum rules the village and their cooperation is not good at all.
Really only 1 bedroom. The sofa bed was in a very small room. The space in the covered patio was comfortable.
Tanya, the lady who received us, is really very friendly and hospitable. An asset to the business. The cottage has everything needed to make the stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. It's a shame Kleinzee is so far from us, otherwise we would have visited there more often. A very special resting place!

The Beach Cottage was really much more than we expected. Everything was thought of. From braai tongs to a washing machine. The cottage is really beautiful clean and neat. Very cosy and the people in Kleinzee are so friendly. They sent us all the town's business specials via Whatsapp and was in regular contact to find out if we needed anything. The people there are all friendly and willing to help with everything. We will surely visit again en recommend it to all our friends. What an awesome place!
Beautiful place, has everything you need. Stylish. Amazing decor and a view to die for. Just for planning purposes: You need to do your food shopping because this town is very small and don't have major shops. But the quite of the town and the beauty of the place was magical. The people in the town are amazing and so helpful.

The view is incredible! The house was clean and tidy, the detail inside the house is just wow. People are very friendly and helpful. For sure a place we will see again.
A gem of a place in the middle of nowhere. The Beach Cottage has everything one needs. It is clean and very comfortable. If you don't want to eat at one of the places, I suggest you take food together. The kitchen is beautiful and there is a washing machine. Of course one always wants to support the locals, but for basics I suggest you take food together. The Kleinzee Spa and Restaurant has the best t-bones and potatoes! The roads are rough and the village is remote, but definitely worth the support. Definitely the best accommodation in Kleinzee. 12 out of 10.

The place is neat, clean and tastefully decorated. There are more than enough tools for barbecuing and the kitchen is fully equipped! Great location!

The Beach House itself is a little dream. If I could pick it up, and transport it, I would have. So much love and thought has gone into the decor, artistically a delight. Kleinzee itself not so with all the mining dumps in the surrounds, but to be fair we should have realised that.
What a privilege, the agent helped us book 2 extra days. The apartment feels like a holiday and has everything we could need.

Very cosy and beautifully decorated. Had all we needed and especially enjoyed the inside braai. Most beautiful sunsets and view of the ocean which is only a km or so away. Would recommend the cottage to anyone who needs a calm getaway that still feels like your own little beach house.
We had a very friendly reception from Tanya and she also helped us find other places to eat after the Crazy Crayfish Diner where we booked dinner, without informing us, closed for the week. The cottage is beautifully decorated and there is a wonderful surprise around every corner. The living area is spacious enough for 2 adults, but if there were more people, it would be a little cramped. Lovely shower ─ interesting shower head. However, the sleeping area was problematic for me as there are no windows that can be opened in the master bedroom. I suggest they consider air conditioning or at least a fan. The other sleeping area will only be suitable for very small children and although there is a window, the space is cramped. We felt very safe even though there were no burglar bars in front of the windows. You may also need to place a photo of the view from the front door. The name Beach Cottage suggests it is on the beach, but the beach is very far from it.
Love the tranquility and sea nearby. Just didn't get good service at the supermarket. Would be much better if there could be tar roads to the other towns.

We had a lovely stay at the Beach Cottage. Would have liked to stay longer if we could get place! Everything you might think of is provided in the beautiful place. We appreciate durability and the tasteful place has exceeded our expectations.
It is a beautiful place to stay, it is very nicely furnished and everything was very nice and tidy. There is a nice large living area, a nicely equipped kitchen, and a very nice shower. The room is not terribly big, but is very comfortable, we slept very well. It's a lovely place to stay!
We stayed in 11 places on our tour along the West Coast from Blouberg to Port Nolloth and back. This was our favorite by far. The accommodation is beautiful and we rested well. If we had to buy or build a holiday home ourselves, we would buy the plans of the place. The decor is beautiful and the place is clean. There is a definite indication that the owner regularly comes to stay there himself, so everything works and is available. Although there are not many places to eat in Kleinzee (only two), nor a butcher or fresh vegetables, some of the local people helped us to make our stay very enjoyable. At least we could buy fresh meat at the "New Shop" and the owner of the "Blikbord" made fresh salad on demand. Only compliments to the owner and cleaning staff. We will visit here again!
A very comfortable cottage with good services and with a view on the ocean which is at 10 minutes walking distance. The price is maybe a bit high for a solo traveller and given the location quite far from everything. It's not easy to travel around on the gravel roads with a normal car either. The closest beach is very nice, seals can be seen there sometimes, though long walks are not really possible, part of it not being authorised.
Exceptional interior. Living area very beautiful with an indoor braai. Sleeping area quite small with not much space to move around.
This place is great and artsy. Really nice to drink real coffee for a change. A top sheet on the bed would've helped (all four and five star places provide them). With just a duvet it's difficult to regulate your temperature, especially if it's kind of hot. Without a duvet it's cold, but with the duvet you break out in sweat.
The cottage is fantastic and Paul, the agent, was extremely helpful. We were rather disappointed in the location of the cottage. It is in a pretty isolated section of Kleinzee and the surroundings are pretty run-down. We were assured that there is zero crime in the area, and this seems to be true. Kleinzee itself was also a disappointment - like so many mining towns, it is abandoned by the mining companies when mining is no longer viable and they begin to deteriorate which is very sad. However, it appears that this little town has been slowly "discovered" and more people are buying holiday homes here, which will uplift the area. The recreational fishing in this area is apparently excellent.
Owner passed on responsibility to others. The cottage smelt of smoke. No soap in the bathroom and no dishcloths in the kitchen.
