The Bed in the Shed @ Camissa Farm is a gorgeous barn loft with a panoramic view down the Banhoek Valley, on 60 hectares of landscaped orchards and wild fynbos only 10 minutes from the heart of Stellenbosch. High in the mountains and up in the clouds, it offers a stunning view of the valley and across the landscaped orchards on the valley floor to the Simonsberg and Drakenzicht mountains.

This cabin can accommodate 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. The second bedroom has 2 single beds. Linen and towels are provided.

The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, basic cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, and has a dishwasher for guests’ convenience. It features a dining area and lounge furnished with comfy couches and a TV.

There is an open braai and fire pit outside with beautiful views of the mountains. Guests are afforded secure parking on the premises.

This area is perfect for those who enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, including bird watching, mountain biking, cycling, and swimming. The peaceful surroundings also provide excellent dining options and numerous wine-tasting opportunities. For an evening out, the award-winning restaurants in Paarl and Stellenbosch are highly recommended. Additionally, nearby activities such as horse riding, fishing, and tennis offer further enjoyment.
