This apartment can accommodate 4 adults and 1 child at a time and comprises 2 bedrooms that share a bathroom fitted with a shower, bath, double vanity and toilet. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the second bedroom contains 2 3/4 beds. When a booking is made for a couple you have the choice of which bedroom you would prefer to book. The remaining bedroom is then locked for security. Linen is provided; however, guests are required to bring their own towels.
The bright open-plan living area is filled with natural light and features a kitchen fully equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as a dishwasher. Additionally in the kitchen, there is a dining table and a lounge space with a child-only single sleeper space. A complimentary snack basket is provided on arrival. Access to limited Wi-Fi is available.
Outside the apartment, there is a patio with outdoor seating and guests have access to a Weber to enjoy either on the balcony or on the patio in the front garden. Guests are afforded secure parking in the open-air parking in the back garden.
The apartment is on the upper floor of an old, typical Glenwood house, so there are stairs to climb. The lower level is slowly being renovated but this section is screened off. The old pool was once a froggy heaven but is now being drained and should be approached with care.

1 guests' feedbackThe Boatyard is a lovely spacious upstairs 2-bed unit with a large balcony and access to a large yard and patios with beautiful views over Durban. The rest of the house is undergoing renovations, but the hosts and their team are lovely and helped me with my copious luggage. My dog travels with me, and he was also welcome. Easy access to the main roads, and both 60Sixty and Mr D operate in the area. The main bed mattress is quite firm, but I was very happy. Lots of stairs, but I do highly recommend The Boatyard. Thanks!
