Unfortunately, the pool was out of order during our visit. We will definitely visit again.
The place is neat and clean, very centrally located with a breathtaking sea view.
Very cute place and beautiful. We had a very nice stay. The little ones really enjoyed standing on the balcony in the mornings and watching dolphins. It's a self-catering unit, take your own towels, dishcloths, kitchen cloths, dish soap, etc. There were also some negatives. There were only 3 teaspoons and it wasn't enough teaspoons (haha because we drink a lot of coffee). The tub/shower leaks terribly. So after everyone has showered, the bathroom carpet is soaked up to the toilet (probably what the extra mop in the bathroom was for). Other than that, everything was awesome. We will book there again.

Great. Lovely view and safe. Close to fhe beach. Hreat to have dishwasher and washine machine. Dont know if tjere was wi-fi nothing to indicate this.
The view is very nice but there were a few things that bothered us. The DStv did not work at all. We have contacted the building manager and the host about this. They said they would fix it, but they never did. We found out an afternoon before that we were not going to have power for 3 days. We had to throw away a lot of our food. The shower door was leaking, so every time we finished showering, we had to mop the floor first.
Our seaside getaway was just what a small family with grandma needed. Beautiful views, a stone's throw from the beach and an apartment with everything we needed to relax.

We were 3 girlfriends so the 1.5 bathrooms worked very well. Nice balcony with sea view. Can go to the beach through the building. Only the elevator of the building does not seem 100% safe.
Would recommend the Boulders 206 to anyone, accommodation was of a good standard.
Whilst I do understand that this is self-catering (of which I have stayed at many), I suggest having a hair dryer in the unit. The lack of towels was an issue, although I understand no beach towels are provided. Additionally, there is a dishwasher in the unit, but no tablets are provided. I suggest providing one tablet per day. It would also be helpful to have a small bottle of washing up liquid and maybe a little bottle filled with Vim for pans, etc. It feels like corners are being cut to save money. Your teams only sweep the floors. Why not wipe down the kitchen counters (there is only one) and stove when they are used?
Boulders is superbly located and very comfortable.
Smelly drain. Broken toilet seat. Broken toilet roll hanger. DSTV NOT WORKING. No broom. Broken mop. 80% no electricity /loadshedding. No dish clothes. Needed to ask for it. Plug in main bedroom not working.
Lovely to have the ocean at your doorstep and then you have a choice to go down to the beach or just have relaxing time at the communal swimming pool and braai area. Airport is about 15 km away and shopping centers are within a 5 km from the apartment and you can make a quick in and out without going through much traffic. It is the ideal location to walk from one beach to the other and getting your daily steps without even noticing how far you have walked. Catching a glimpse of whales and dolphin's have added to the experience. I would highly recommend the location for any breakaway. There was no Wi-Fi available and although it was a nuisance in the beginning, it was a welcome break from social media allowing more family time.

This was an amazing holiday! We will be back for sure! The place was exactly as in the photos! Clean, neat, tidy, on the beach! Couldn't ask for more! The keys were easy to collect and return! Ocean views and sun rises were stunning!

The boulders need to cater for full in house cleaning, not part-time cleaning.
Unfortunately, the apartment needs a decent cleaning. The washing machine does not work at all, is rusted and the front door does not close. Maybe also time to replace the mattresses. The price was fair, so one overlooks it, but especially the washing machine that does not work, perhaps should have been communicated in advance. But I would still recommend the apartment with the comments. regards.

We had a great stay but would like to make a constructive comment. The main bedroom's doors need new doorknobs and keys (one door is held shut with a rubber band). The 2nd bedroom light seems unsafe as the wires are very visible, and we couldn't get the light to turn off at all.

The second toilet is a big bonus point. The tub could do with a pull-out handle. Window above in kitchen needs to be repaired to close properly. We really enjoyed the cat at the entrance. Our boiler was replaced immediately. Would recommend anytime.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Boulders 206 and will definitely go again in the future. The only thing to have made the stay perfect was to have braai facilities on the balcony of the unit whether it is free standing or built in (but this seems to be the case with all the other units where there are no braaing facilities only by the pool area) however this detail did not hinder our wonderful stay. Thank you.

The place is neat, clean, all kitchen equipment is there, nice to just relax.
Please ensure your linen has been washed before new people arrive, found the pillow covers were not fresh and had to wash them as well as the sheets. When on holiday I usually choose The Boulders, I have stayed there frequently.

The local people from whom I had to collect the key did not know about our stay. It was quite a long walk to be able to confirm that we had indeed booked and paid. At least it's sorted out.
We had a lovely stay. The view is wonderful and we could see dolphins and whales from the balcony. A full moon over the ocean was a bonus! The place is well and beautifully furnished. One drawback was the noise from restoring the building during the day. It's not the owners of 206's fault but it did disturb our rest. On the other side, it was perhaps the reason why we went around and saw more of the area! Really worth it.

I was under the impression that apartment cleaning included making beds, putting away dishes, toilet paper, etc. include.

My wife and I had the second honeymoon we were looking for. We did not want to come back to Gauteng.
Place was well equipped. We enjoyed it so much not being able to stay too far from the sea.
Our weekend at Boulders 206 was wonderful. Beautiful apartment with everything we needed. Wonderful view and right on the beach.

The noise with regard to the upkeep of the building was a big disappointment at first, BUT we were very impressed with the way our problem was handled. Thank you that an attempt was immediately made to solve our complaint. We had a lovely holiday. Thanks also to the owner who went out of her way to contact us. Will definitely make use of this unit again in the future and recommend it to friends and family. A suggestion to maybe look at the shower, it is not very convenient for elderly people who struggle with hip and back problems. Otherwise LOVELY! LOVELY! LOVELY!
The unit is very well located with direct access to the beach and a wonderful view of it as well. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there was a pan with old scrambled eggs in the dish washer which smelled as if it had been there for weeks. Luckily the cleaner came to wash it the next day. To my surprise there wasn't even toilet paper in any of the toilets, so we had to go to Spar immediately to buy some basics. The day we checked-out, I was phoned by the owner at 09:45 to ask why we were still there. I sent her my LekkeSlaap confirmation which shows that check-out is at 10:00. She said no, checkout was at 09:00 and we had to leave immediately. So only one of us had time to shower before we left. Unfortunately it left a bitter taste at the end of our holiday.
We really enjoyed the time at Boulders 206, but the ongoing construction was annoying. Had we been aware of this beforehand, we would probably not have stayed here. It went on every day from 8:00 to 14:00. We would love to stay here again, but if there is construction happening, please let people now before they book!
We were very impressed with the location and the view. Unfortunately, the apartment had a terrible smell. The lock on the front door is also faulty. The double bed's mattress "protector" is rock hard and slept very badly. We just took it off later. One pillow did not have a pillowcase.
If only we had been given more information beforehand, the experience would have been better. What to bring, where to get the keys, what the cleaning rules are, gate code, etc. They were also busy building and breaking down the building which made it unpleasant to be there during the day. Other than that, everything was very nice.
