The Chalet is fully furnished and comprises 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The main bedroom is equipped with a queen-size bed and the second room is a loft area, which features 4 single beds, with a bath, basin and toilet in the bathroom. The kitchen is well-equipped with basic appliances such as a gas stove with an oven, as well a fridge-freezer.
The lounge has comfortable couches to relax on, and there is a fireplace that can be used to keep the cold at bay. All lights in the house are powered by batteries, and candles are supplied for additional lighting. Hot water is heated with gas as well. Guests are welcome to make use of the outdoor braai facilities, and there is plenty of space for pets to play.
Activities that can be enjoyed on-site are hiking, cycling and 4x4 trails on the farm, however, guests need to bring their own equipment to do so. There is also a stream a short walk from the house, where one can have a picnic. The farm is about 45 kilometers from the nearest shops and facilities within Underberg.

1 guests' feedbackThe Chalet is far away from everything - and I mean everything. You probably won't see a single person during your stay there. Just beautiful vistas of mountains that take your breath away. There was snow on the peaks when we were there - very special. There is no electricity or WiFi and the mobile phone signal comes and goes. Heavenly. Solar panels provide lights in all the rooms. The gas stove works well and an enormous fireplace keeps the whole place cozy and warm. Pack a small ax to chop the fireplace wood finer, because enormous pieces of wood are provided and village lads (like us) may struggle to make a fire with it. We had a wonderful rest, walked and read. Our dogs were out of their skins happy.
