The place was very neat, but load shedding made it challenging with the heat. The room is also small and space is a challenge. The air conditioning was noisy and so was the sliding door to the bathroom. The coffee plunger also let coffee through. Nice food parcels received in the evening.

Neat layout from entering the property throughout the rooms, dining room and gardens. Breakfast is 5 star quality. As well as the meat, barbecue sandwiches and salads for barbecue for evening meal. Braai wood is available for the purpose. The service is great. Mandi and Imelda do an excellent job.

The falls guesthouse offers more than your standard guest house in the sense that the rooms are located to one side, away from the main house and there is separation between you and your neighbours. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden and rooms are very tastefully furnished. Clean, quality linen and towels are provided.
The guest house is well located for a visit to the falls, but also as a base for exploring the area.
Spent one night with friends on the way to Augrabiese Park. Arranged to check in late afternoon and arrived there and was able to spend some quiet time in the neat garden and swim in the pool. Room was very neat and clean.
Upon arrival we were received so kindly. We were escorted to our units - the most beautiful units, lovely mattress and the interior was beautifully done. Bathrooms were nice and clean. The Falls Guest House even called and recommended dinner arrangements and even made us a reservation at a lodge for dinner. Amazing service, great, great, great. Would recommend to anyone for tranquility and cleanliness. The pool was lovely to use after a hot day on the road. Will definitely visit again.

Wow! This is a well run guest house and only 6 km from the gate of the Augrabies Falls. The rooms are impeccably neat, clean and comfortable. The staff go out of their way to make sure you are happy and that all your needs are met. We will definitely stay here again and can recommend The Falls Guest House without any reservations.
We were very impressed by all the small things which can be overlooked. Plunger coffee, nice bed, efficient air-conditioning, a nice braai, secluded patio etc. Good value for money.

The accommodation was pleasant. We had an extra child come with us at the last minute. We asked to pay extra and the child was given a room, but I feel we payed to much for one person, given what we payed for the other 3. Otherwise the guesthouse is very neat and well-located.

We really enjoyed our visit to the guest house. The owner has made it beautiful and it is of course ideal to spend the night there if you want to visit the Augrabian Falls. There are also numerous other attractions in the area such as the Lake Grappe.
Beautiful resting place on a farm.
The accommodation was exceptional - very good location and very tidy. Note that the breakfast was not included in the price. Coffee shop was also closed when we checked in, for lunch and dinner. Reception was unmanned and we were there just after 2 hours. We should have gone looking for the lady. We were informed that there were other restaurants in the area and inquired about barbecue packages. Barbecue packs were provided and delicious barbecue bread and potato salad.

Our stay was very peaceful surrounded by a beautiful garden. The residence was very beautiful and luxurious. Enjoyed it a lot. The only downside was that the farm workers start working very early and they pass right in front of your room with the tractors and trailers.
The swimming pool and air-con in some rooms are very nice in the warm Augrabies.
Unit that sleeps 6 people was very neat and comfortably equipped. Furniture and finishes in room and unit was top quality. The garden and dining hall were beautiful and the food and service was excellent. Checking of equipment like aircon, fridge, lights and plugs needs to be checked regularly and not pointed out by guests. Manager did pay attention to all the problems though. Despite the aforementioned issues the accommodation was exceptionally fantastic and can be highly recommended.
We enjoyed the stay very much. Room is very well equipped with high quality content. The breakfast at the tea room was also of high quality.
Room provided with enough golden finish but unfortunately not all equally clean. Maintenance would definitely have to become a priority. Out of four weeks of guesthouses, this was the worst value for money.

We had a very nice stay. The rooms are beautiful and the people very friendly. Since my sister and I made a reservation together, we at least expected our rooms to be close/next to each other. We booked months in advance. She was on one side and I was on the other side of the building. Also, just a warning - we asked the waiter/receptionist for directions to Riemvasmaak. The instructions they gave us were hardly suitable for a 4X4 - let alone 2 quite elderly ladies in a Hyundai i.10! When we realized what we were getting ourselves into, it was too late to turn around because there was no turning back. A higher power guided us through it. This yet could have had a tragic aftermath. We did not see a single person or vehicle for the 30 km. No cell phone signal either.

It is a lovely place to be so close to the waterfall. Almost perfect. Just a shame that an everyday thing like breakfast can almost start a day on a low note. I would like to recommend that the management of the guest house make it known to guests upon arrival that a cold breakfast is included in the accommodation price and not a hot breakfast. It was the first time something like this had happened to us. Out of principle we then took advantage of the cold breakfast. Another thing there are people who don't like strange animals in a restaurant. Please keep your dogs outside. Nice run and thank you very much for allowing us to share your brilliant facilities.

Check-in times are 10:00 to 17:00 on weekdays and 10:00 to 12:00 on weekends. Contact us if you want to check in earlier and we will do our best to accommodate you.
There is a gate at the entrance of the premise that gets closed for the safety of our guests. If the gate is closed upon arrival, please call us so that we can provide the code to the gate.
Please contact us before 12:00 on the day you check in to provide your dinner preferences, since we do not have a restaurant on the premises.

Description
The cottage has two bedrooms with a double bed and twin beds in the second bedroom. The bathroom is shared between the two bedrooms. There is a double bunk bed suitable for children in the living room area.
In the morning a delightful farm style breakfast can be feasted on at our on-site thatched roofed breakfast area, watching over a valley of lush green vineyards. Each unit, except for the basic double unit, has its own built in barbecue/braai facilities. We stock meat from the local butcher as well as wood and will gladly prepare salad and bread to ensure a true South African braai experience. A fenced swimming pool, chess set and kids play ground is also available for our guests' enjoyment.
