"Relaxed and quiet with friendly neighbours."

If you're looking for a place to relax and escape the noise of city life, this is definitely the place. Had all the necessities one would require. More than enough space to sleep up to 6 guests, and the beach is right around the corner.

House was lovely to stay in. House could be cleaned a little better. The tiled floor is dirty and there were nails and hair in the one double bed. Other than that, everything went very well and we had a wonderful stay there. Thank you very much.

The place meets the basic needs but the house was rather dirty. The kitchenware (plates, glasses, cutlery) was not clean even though it was packed in the cupboards, the shower and bath were also dirty. The cobwebs were visible everywhere and we could tell that the house had not been properly cleaned for a long time. The one cupboard in the kitchen was also broken and the TV remotes did not work.

"Nice location, but the accommodation needs some maintenance and attention."

Curtains need trimming; Many light bulbs were not working; Sliding doors are not secure (one was unlocked on arrival);.

More time was spent outside, but it wasn't always easy considering we had an elderly person and semi-disabled person in the group so you'd appreciate a place that's pleasing and does not have shabby drapes and unpleasant odours. Otherwise, it could be pleasing as the location is great! Too many broken items to mention. The oven smoked because of grease when switched on. Chairs are rickety and unstable. Bedroom drapes and lampshades are soiled and in shreds in some places. The en suite shower was blocked up, we reported and someone came when we were out, they were to return the following morning, but never pitched.

"House is big enough for 2 families to share, but contents of house were dated and also not good quality."

1. The cutlery and crockery were dirty and had to be washed before use. The outdoor courtyard area was dusty. The courtyard gate and front door made a huge noise on opening it - it scrapes on the floor. 2. A few cupboard door hinges need to be replaced. 3. The bathroom mats were old and the bedding did not smell clean (it was clean, but prefer bedding to smell like a washing powder scent and not like an old cupboard). 4. WiFi was very slow and basically useless- no one could stream any content or work on the unstable connection.

We just slept there. Cottage is tidy and facilities were sufficient.

Cleanliness could be improved. Couches and lounge area not sufficient for 6 persons. There was no DStv nor Wi-Fi. The TV was in a cabinet so you cannot see it unless in front of it. Rooms not rearranged correctly as you could not access the clothing cupboard nor the plug. Other than that the house was in walking distance of the beach.

The place was clean and tidy when we got there. It is a safe place the security is 100%. I would definitely recommend it to someone. It was a little cold, but the fireplace made up for it. Maryka was very friendly and helpful, thank you Maryka. I look forward to my next visit to Fountains 15.

"All good except for dish soap and no soap in bathrooms. No tongs or forks."

We were a family with grown married children. There was no soap or detergent available. No grilling tongs and forks either.

"Very quiet and sheltered."

Quiet area to rest. The house is very sheltered. I will go back again. I discussed with Sune all the problems we were having. The amount requested for cleaning is unnecessary as you as a person must leave the premises clean. All they have to do is wash, iron and make up the bedding. I feel this is ridiculous. Furthermore, there were no problems logging in.

Really nice place, neat. Time spent was very enjoyable. Just would've liked it if someone could inform us about the rubbish removal so it doesn't pile up.

Agents of the accommodation wasn't there with check in or check out. Was left with little electricity. If we didn't go check the meter we probably would've sat in the dark for quite some time. You pay R600 cleaning fee, but need to ensure you leave the place clean and empty all bins before departure. Bedroom was dusty and floors not properly swept. R600 doesn't seem to be used with a good company. I would recommend, but with a lot of caution.

"There are not even fans in the rooms."

TV didn't work, no power plugs in 2 smaller rooms for hair dryers etc. not. Place was not clean at all, I sent pictures. R600 cleaning fee included, but didn't get it. It's not going to help to recommend other people here. Will only consider if I get some of my money back, especially cleaning fee.

"I am disappointed in this place."

I am very disappointed, the place was very dirty, bulbs was out, outdated cutlery and crockery, dirty mat, bedding was full of sand, toilets smells, stove and toaster was so dirty we have to clean it and the bathrooms before we could use it, and spider webs all over the place, sorry will not return. Shelley Point is disappointing, for such a lot of money

The Fountains 15 was one amazing place to stay. Very quiet and safe. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Me and some friends went for my birthday. We really enjoyed it, the location is perfect, the house was clean, just upon our arrival there was a small problem but Sune fixed it right away, thank you Sune. I would definitely recommend the place. It's very safe and quiet.

"Cutlery and cleaning needs work."

I had a small one die from cutlery that was "chip". When I pay that much money, I expect decent cutlery. There were about 6 plates and 4 cups that were chipped - unacceptable! The fact that a R400 cleaning fee is asked is also unacceptable. We left the place clean, with no dirty dishes and think asking us a R400 fee to clean is a bit harsh. For that kind of money I expect a spotless place and it was not the case. The barbecue area outside was filthy and the place was infested with ants. It's a very comfortable place and nicely located near the beach and I believe if some attention is paid to the above, we will definitely return.

"Short."

It was very nice to stay at The Fountains 15. Something urgently has to be done about the TV and the DStv that is currently not working. With regards to cutlery there were only 2 forks, 2 spoons and 2 teaspoons - this after stating that 6 people can stay there.

"Exceptionally disappointed."

On arrival the place was incredibly dirty. The fridge/freezer had melted and the water in the freezer smelt of rotting meat. Fridge itself hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and was full of old food etc. The top of the fridge also hadn't been cleaned in years, same story with the oven. We contacted the owner after which someone was sent to come and clean. On our return it was better, but we still couldn't use the freezer (we put ice in it, which smelt like rotting meat after a very short while). As we started unpacking, we noticed the taps leaked, the bed lamps didn't even have bulbs in them, the couch in the lounge was covered up with a blanket to hide its true condition (we couldn't even sit on it). We wanted to braai but the grid was in a horrid state, every time we wanted to use glasses or plates we had to first clean it etc. All this was told to the owner by my wife via a phone conversation, but nothing was done about it. The owner did return our R400 cleaning fee though. Honestly, to travel 1700 km from Polokwane for that, wasn't worth it. I won't recommend it to anyone for a stay if they don't seriously look at the problems of the place. The place made us feel dirty and because the couch was in such a state, we had to sit on the bed to just relax.
