What a fantastic place to relax after a long drive. The place is safe and secure and so peaceful to just get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Thank you, Fox's Lair.
We had a great stay at this beautiful spacious house for two families travelling together. We enjoyed the outside braai and the complimentary wood that was provided. The house truly has everything one could want or need with lots of heaters and blankets for winter travellers and aircon when it's warmer. Close to the Augrabies Falls.

It was nice having en-suite bathrooms. The unit had everything we needed and the beds were lovely.
We were 6 guests, divided into 3 rooms - each with its own private bathroom. Then there was a large living area with enough power points and charging ports for mobile phones. We also had our own private little garden where we had a great barbecue. Als was nice and clean, and with special attention to every little detail. The accommodation is on a farm, with a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The place offers very good value for money. We will look for reason to stay there again if we can.

Fox's Lair was nice, clean and comfort able a short drive to the Augrabies Falls. Louis was very welcoming and ensured we were settled and comfortable. The air conditioning in the bedroom was a real blessing. I will easily recommend the place to anybody.
Very convenient. Aircon was welcome with the heat. The little garden was ideal for our dogs. Neat place with everything you need!
Main room has its own fridge and mini-kitchen. Each room has its own shower. Quiet farm within 7 km from Augrabies waterfall. Go see for yourself.
We had a 3-room apartment, our own little garden for braai. Lots of space. Really nice and comfortable. The are very close to the waterfalls. The accommodation is on a farm with mostly controlled access to the front. The size of the farm and the fact that there are taxis on the farm put us off a bit. So parking was half a problem for us as I was towing a wagon and I felt that there wasn't really safe parking with so many feet around.

We were received with great hospitality in a beautiful three bedroom living unit that was comfortable for all of us. The three bathrooms were a big bonus for a group of six. The braai area is safe and good braai wood was provided. The house was very neat, clean and the air conditioners ensured a good night's rest for all of us. The hostess, Louise, made us feel very much at home and offered help where needed. The farm atmosphere was so nice and didn't feel unsafe in any way. Will go again!
Louise provided all the comforts necessary for a great stay, the unit was new and bedrooms really tastefully furnished and bathrooms very mod. Very secure accommodation close the Augrabies falls which was great. We brought our dogs with and Louise provided a lovely grassed area for them while we went to the falls.

Place is very neat and very private. Nice green grass especially if you have a small dog. The house is very nice and tidy. I would definitely recommend The Fox's Lair. And the hostess gives the most delicious biscuits with coffee.

Neat and spacious rooms with hospitable hostess. All complaint is that there is no maid who washes dishes or cleans for the time of stay. Also have to say that the remaining period did fall on a holiday.
We had a lovely stay. The accommodation was neat. The private courtyard is ideal for a group of friends and a lot of firewood was provided.
All that was missing was a black bag, a broom and a drying rack for laundry. Had a great stay.

Had a bit of trouble finding the place. The sign post is not clearly visible among all the other signs in the same place. They provide wood so take some braai meat along. Nice walled area for a braai. Well-equipped kitchen.
The apartment is very tasteful and well equipped. Everything was very neat and clean. Directions aren't good and there is only one small board in one direction. We came from the other side and missed it. We had to ask around to find the place in the end. No GPS coordinates. No answer on the phone calls we made. On arrival the gates were locked and nobody was there to receive us. We had to struggle for more than an hour to get ahold of the owner (various phone calls to a variety of numbers were unsuccessful). In the end we contacted LekkeSlaap who got hold of the owner to contact us. Not what you want after a very long day with a baby in the car. The second night the dog barked non-stop. We tried phoning the owner (unsuccessful) and in the end sent various SMS's in the early morning hours asking him to please make a plan with the dog. It was a struggle.
