26 guests' feedbackLovely overnight on our way to Kruger. Jaco welcomed us, gave us good advice on entering Kruger and surrounding roads. We loved the quirky decorations in the house and garden. It was so interesting, and we wished we had more time to look around.
Friendly service. Beautiful premises and the rooms are well appointed and have a warm feel. Owner was friendly and helpful. Will stay there again in the future.
Jaco's place is an absolute delight. I love the rustic farm vibes. He was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good as well. Will definitely be returning just to get a good night's sleep again.

The host is the best.
Was given a different room than booked, but this was fine. In fact, more than fine (unless you are planning to cook). The room has designer furniture and lots of paintings on the walls, quite impressive. And really remarkable when you consider the street in front of the house is almost impassable and street signs no longer exist in this little town. In addition to the art in the room, the accommodation has several fountains and sculptures in the garden.
A good stopover on the way to Kruger from Gauteng. A quiet and comfortable night's stay at The Gables in Belfast. The location makes it a good stopover on the way East to Kruger.
The rooms are very nicely and practically furnished and have everything you need. The garden is fantastic and is very artistically designed, you can wander around it for quite a while! The owner, Jaco, is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. Would recommend it!

The host, Jaco, is very eccentric. He is very artistic, and I'm sure every dear image, painting/something in his house has a remarkable story. We appreciate the cleanliness and privacy we enjoy when we stay there. It's the second time we've stayed there on our way to the Kruger National Park, and it's still an absolute pleasure.
Everything was good, from arrival to departure, Jaco is a great host and his place is just as beautiful.

It was too short to really make a meaningful comment. The yard was very well cared for with beautiful roses that were in bloom.
Big and had DStv. Felt very safe as entire property was alarmed.

Jaco is an amazing host. We stayed for 5 nights and he went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. We went through a difficult time during our stay there and it was like an oasis to come home to The Gables in the afternoons. The guest house is neatly and very tastefully furnished, the interior of the house is so beautiful and creates a warm atmosphere. What a creative and kind hearted person who owns this place. I heartily recommend The Gables.

A great surprise of a place in Belfast, who would have known? Super half way stop en route to JHB for an early morning meeting.
Stylish arty and interesting. Well-prepared for our arrival, even though Belfast had loadhedding that evening, it mattered not. The candle light and open fire made up for it, the ambience was an excellent host in Jaco's absence. We loved the home, I can recommend it.
The Gables is like a lucky packet. We really enjoyed our stay and can recommend it.
