8 guests' feedbackWe had a wonderful stay at The Gables. Beautiful location with beaches close by. The estate is quiet, peaceful and safe. Perfectly located just an hour from Cape Town with easy access to the towns along the west coast too. Highly recommend if you’re wanting a peaceful holiday.
I planned a last minute "long weekend away" birthday trip. I was not disappointed. Karen and Adele were very friendly, helpful and non-intrusive. Check-in was seamless. The house is spacious, clean and very private. The area is so quiet and peaceful. Took my daily walks and enjoyed watching the beautiful sunset every day. Locals are also very friendly. This is truly a home away from home .

We were 7 adults and 4 children and booked both sections. Nice and spacious and child-friendly. Very safe and reasonably comfortable walking distance from beach to get your feet wet.
It is a great place, it is neat and very spacious, a nice place for a family wanting to take a break from the hustle and bustle, it is not to far but far enough for some peace and quiet. We had a great time and I'll definitely recommend it to others.

We had a lovely weekend. The house is well equipped with everything one needs. Karen the owner and Adele the manager were very friendly and helpful in answering all my questions before our arrival. I would definitely go to The Gables again.
If you can maybe consider getting a pool then it would be even nicer, especially for the kids.
