The property is solar powered and has a backup generator, a solar geyser as well as an inverter in case of load shedding.

Arrangements and accommodation very good and everything there that is needed. Good quiet area too, but close to everything one wants to visit.

The Garden Cottage is very clean and tidy. A good stopover for business travelers or a stopover after a late night in the vicinity of the Garden Cottage. Melanie received us very kindly and was very helpful. A big plus is the fact that it is a solar powered unit.
The studio apartment was larger than I thought and had a full kitchen with a stove and everything. It looked lovely. My only complaints are that the duvet was stuffed with down feathers and this wasn't stated anywhere. I'm allergic to down feathers so I ended up being quite cold that night. Secondly, the shower took a very long time to get warm. I waited about 10 minutes for hot water to start coming through.

The cottage is well-appointed, spotless and private. I was well-received by the owners who explained the television, alarm, and the like. I travel with two mini-dachshunds and they were also well-pleased. We enjoyed our stay and will certainly recommend and return.

I enjoyed privacy since the owner only communicated via WhatsApp. No need to go to a restaurant or sit in a guesthouse, self-catering was a bonus. Very clean!

Place was neat, modern and safe. Definitely value for money. I would suggest putting in a ceiling fan or air conditioner or maybe just making a regular fan available in the room. But otherwise, slept and stayed very well.
Once again thanks Malanei and Graham for your warmest welcoming and care. The place is more than a five star hotel, with the highest taste of furniture in the rooms, it's very clean with Wi-Fi and no loadshedding as they have a powerful backup power during the day and at night 100%.
The Garden Cottage was the perfect place to stay for me. It has everything you needed. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to book and would certainly go back.

Positives: Zias, the Great Dane! It's clean and tidy with all amenities. Provision for loadshedding and Wifi. Shortly after we left, the owner informed me that I had left my wedding ring behind. 10/10 for that, thanks a thousand. Negative: It was freezing cold and a gas heater would help a lot. Temp varied between 3 and 13 degrees, so the solar panel geyser could only provide hot water for one shower out of a possible 4 chances. Otherwise, no complaints as far as location, quietness and safety are concerned. Added to that, the owners are not to blame for the cold weather either! I will visit Zias again!
