We had such a wonderful stay in "The Goose Nest", Struisbaai. Very clean, everything you need for a self-catering holiday for 2. The hostess and host were so friendly and helpful and immediately made us feel at home.
It was fine and served the purpose of our visit. It was small but comfortable, and one has their own parking bay. We were happy we chose to stay there.

We had a lovely stay at The Goose Nest. The unit was beautifully neat and clean and well-equipped. Our host, Netta, was so caring and communicated well with us before our arrival.

We had an amazing stay at Netta and Kobus' "Goose Nest"! They are an excellent host/wife who were always ready to help and ensure our stay was comfortable. The room was neatly equipped with everything we needed and more. The highlight of the stay was definitely the beautiful apartment which was clean, modern and well equipped. It was simply "spotless" and made our stay even more special. The location was also very convenient and we were able to explore the area easily. Overall, we would highly recommend "The Goose Nest" to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The value for money was excellent, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you, Netta and Kobus, for being such a wonderful host/wife! NB. Definitely go eat at the "Harbour cafe", their fish and calamari are excellent. Take the steps up the lighthouse out in Agulhas. It is absolutely worth the R40. Visit Waenhuiskrans and the cave during low tide. It's breathtaking.
Kobus and Netta are very friendly and helpful. You immediately feel at home. The unit is neat, clean and well equipped. We will go there again.
Car is parked outside, and not behind a fence, so sleep is restless especially if you are touring and you can't take everything out, but there were no problems.
This is an excellent place and I can recommend it to anyone.
Extremely neat and clean one-bedroom apartment with all facilities, WiFi, DStv, outside braai, patio with seating etc. with secure parking. Owners Kobus and Netta will leave no stone unturned to ensure guests are happy. Within convenient walking distance of Struisbaai main beach, best fish and chips cafe in Africa as well as other popular Struisbaai shops. Park, unpack and enjoy Struisbaai!
Netta is the ideal hostess. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The units are very neat, clean and fully equipped with everything you need. We would stay there again anytime.

Struisbaai is not our most popular place because of too many acquaintances, but will visit Goose Nest again.
Owner was very friendly and considerate. He makes you feel at home, and you have absolute privacy. We could without a doubt ask for anything, although we didn't have to. We will definitely go again.
Even in the winter, we had a great time staying at The Goose Nest. We will return and rent this accomodation even blind folded. What you see on their website is what you get - even more.

The little apartment is just big enough for 2 people and nothing bigger is needed for a few days stay and rest. It is tidy with the necessary facilities to make the stay comfortable.

Recommendation. Make sure about the keys you receive from the host / hostess; and don't drive away before handing over the keys. I am very sorry for the loss they had to suffer over the bathroom key with the red heart being lost. My/our stay was wonderful in every way; and I would stay there again anytime.

Very kindly received by Percilla and Raymond. Very neat and fully equipped apartment unit, located in a quiet area. The flock of sugar beaks that came to drink sugar water was an absolute experience. The accommodation is located near a shopping center and close to routes to L'Agulhas, which is a special tourist destination. My husband and I spent a wonderful two nights at The Goose Nest. Percilla (the owner) welcomed us so kindly! The kitchen has everything you need. There was also coffee, tea and sugar set out for our use. Percilla gave us a lot of information about the area and very good advice about nice places to eat! Place was neat nad the price good because they even had DStv. The perk of storage space in the fridge for bait was good for my husband who likes to fish. Everything was good.
The Goosens are very spontaneous people and went out of their way to welcome us on Sunday afternoon.
