The room was clean and there was enough blankets. There was no place to leave the key, we left very early and was unsure what to do with the key.

Nicolas welcomed us warmly and looked after us very well. It was just about to start raining and he helped us carry our bags. Nicholas made sure we were comfortable. The next morning there was a breakfast package for our journey onward. I can definitely recommend The Guest House Pongola. With such hospitality, no one can go wrong.
Lovely spacious and tidy room, terribly nice mover green garden with a crystal clear swimming pool and well located. Our host, Nicholaas, was absolutely fantastic, he went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable and never stopped smiling.
Was a little tricky to find, but we are old! Place is spacious, great, safe, neat and clean. Really enjoyable and definitely recommended. Good choice.
I originally booked the guest house due to having stayed there last year January and found the place to be quite acceptable. However, our recent stay was a massive disappointment. On arrival it appeared that the room was not prepared for guests. We were 4 adults. We had to ask for toilet paper. There was only one towel in the room. Had to ask for an additional 3 towels. The little bit (hardly enough for one cup) of coffee that was in the bottle was rock hard. When requesting for coffee, they said they didn't have. The double bed was so soft. It felt like you were sleeping in a hole. Although there are no smoking signs all over the house, the house reeked of cigarette smoke which made the place feel dirty. We will most definitely not be booking this guest house for our next trip.

I arrived at the Guest House after almost 9 hours on the road. It was unbearably hot outside. It had been wonderful to step out of the heat into a nice and cool room. The ladies were very friendly and the customer service was very good. Remember to wear swimwear if you visit the Guest House. There is a nice swimming pool.

Nice room and quality beds. Breakfast that is ordered in advance is a plus. Complex neat and far enough from the main road. Will stay there again.

We paid almost the same rate when we booked again but stayed inside the house, which should be much cheaper. Otherwise a lovely place and will visit again provided prices do not increase.

Upon our arrival we were warmly received and immediately felt at home. The room was clean and comfortably furnished. Breakfast was as requested, freshly made, hot and delicious. Enough to satisfy a hunger like mine. Value for money. Will definitely stay there again!
