Accommodation at The Gull comprises of 2 units, one being a Cottage and the other being an Apartment. Both are unique and tastefully decorated. The units each consist of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, separate toilet, an open-plan living area and a well-equipped kitchen. They each have their own private entrance, out-side beach shower and private patio with BBQ/braai area. The Cottage is quaint and has it's own fenced off private little garden and the Apartment is more modern and closer to the beach.
The property also features a small private gym as well as a beautiful fire-pit and pizza oven for guests use. The fire-pit is great to sit around whilst making pizza's, a potjie or just unwinding having a glass of wine whilst watching the flames. No need to bring your own potjie pot as each unit has their own.
The Gull is located on the Myoli Beach front with direct beach access up the stairs to the top of the dune. The whale watching platform is approximately 100 metres away.
Guests can enjoy the beach, walk to the beach restaurant, go canoeing, surfing, paragliding, fishing or hiking which are only a few of the activities that can be experienced within the Garden Route area and surrounds.

Had an absolutely fantastic visit with good friends, tranquility, location and climate. Exceptionally friendly owner and team. Nothing is too much trouble and the cleanliness of the premises is amazing. Not to mention the location. Just over the dune to the sea. And literally around the corner is Pili Pili Beach restaurant with delicious dishes and good service. Can really highly recommend The Gull with an open mind. Thank you, it was exceptional. Definitely see you again very soon.

The Gull was delightful. We stayed in the cottage which was small but well appointed. Ruth was very welcoming and helpful. We stayed only over the weekend when the unit is not serviced, so cannot comment on that aspect, but overall a most enjoyable stay.

Very friendly owner, gas stove for load shedding which helped a lot, washing machine was convenient, a bit of a struggle to get laundry dry, a tumble dryer would be an asset. The accommodation was modern, comfortably furnished, clean, beds excellent. Will go again for sure, just been there too short. Thank you very much.

Everything was thought of and everything was very nice, clean and tidy. We had a great time and rested. It is very easy to get to the sea as one can only exit the yard through a gate. Sedgefield is a beautiful place and the beaches are beautiful.

The Gull is right on the beach, and while it doesn't have a view of the sea, it has a path over the vegetated dune right onto what amounts to a private beach! The crashing of the waves can be heard and the place is beautifully done, with all the amenities one would want. Ruth is fantastic and her son Wayne runs tours so that you get a wonderful stay in the Garden Route.

The cottage is modern and clean, and it was serviced on a daily basis. The cottage could just as well be an area of your own living area. Amenities, such as a washing machine is in the cottage. When my wife needed medical assistance, you were there to assist, and took genuine care and interest in her well being. As we were leaving early in the morning, you took the time to greet us the previous afternoon. That speaks of how you embrace and engage. We felt being part of your family, and not being a visitor to your property. Thank you, thank you and thank you again.
Except for the fact that there were no washing machine or dishwasher that made a longer trip with children a bit hard, there's nothing wrong with The Gull. Stunning decor, perfect lighting, very friendly hostess! Go for it, you won't be disappointed.

The Gull is conveniently located, very neat and clean, and really friendly owners. We struggled to "connect" to the WiFi, but that's really the only negative feedback.
We stayed in the Cottage located on the street side of the property. Very neat, clean and well-equipped cottage. Everything you need is available. The beach is approximately 150 m away and can be accessed by walking around the house. Ruth and Selwyn are very friendly, helpful and we felt at home immediately. We really enjoyed our stay.
