Neat and comfortable. Unfortunately did not take breakfast with room, but it smelled very nice and will take it with me next time.
We suddenly had to spend the night in Bethlehem. I chose The Hank because of the good feedback and for the price I expected the measuring facilities to be available. Upon arrival, the receptionist was busy talking to staff, more like shouting and telling me all their dramas that I didn't want to know at all. She gave me the room key and indicated with her finger "over there" is your room. She didn't show me around at all, didn't even get up from her chair. I asked for 2 single bed duvets instead of the king size duvet which she arranged for me very quickly. I asked if the TV could be turned on outside and for the remote. I was told that he has not been used for a long time but they will try to make a plan. The TV is on, with a screen that keeps saying "no signal", now what's the use? No channels. There is also no hairdryer in the room. There was 1 glass, 1 cup, 1 triangle of milk, we were 2 people, I found the cleaning lady in the room and asked for another one of each and she quickly brought me. The younger receptionist who greeted us in the morning was much friendlier and much more accommodating.
We had a very nice stay. Rooms were neat and clean. One side of the bed's electric blanket didn't have a two-prong plug for the wall, but at least there were extra blankets.
This guesthouse and hostess is a beacon of hope to our country's tourism industry. Kind staff and care. We felt incredibly blessed to have stayed at The Hank Guesthouse! Thank you.

Very nice stay, friendly staff, clean, tidy and large room.
Needed a place to stay. We checked in much later and drove again quite early. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Also got a delicious breakfast package as we drove too early to catch the breakfast table open.

I stayed at The Hank during the VKB Bielie-Mielie Fees. Every morning started with a delicious full breakfast and the evening ended with a clean room and with neat facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay there again when I have the opportunity.
Our stay at the Hank Guesthouse was awesome. From the food and ambience to the friendliness of the staff members. I wish that every town we went to had a Hank Guesthouse.
It is a brand new guest house and it is acceptable that there will still be problems. Apart from the problem with booking, our stay was pleasant.
