Quiet environment, slept well.
This accommodation was more expensive than the one at Pongola we paid a few weeks ago and it doesn't offer half the value. The room is tiny, partition wall with other rented room like paper, access and exit to premises is a problem, no point of contact outside or inside. The cold tap in the shower has no cold water. Besides that, my booking confirmation was never forwarded to the owner. Finally I reached her on her phone number and she had room for me. I tried to call but to no avail and kept listening to deathly music. This while I am standing in the street in the heat with animals in my car in front of the house. On Sunday morning I could only go out after I had to repeatedly press the horn and the caretaker (?) sleepily in his night clothes opened the gate. All in all an invigorating experience.
The Haven is a very nice place to stay. The room we slept in was well equipped, nice big bed and own bathroom. It is very nice outside with a small pool. Really value for money.
I felt so at home when I stayed. Hospitable and friendly and the food was top notch. The bed sleeps fantastically. I felt very much at home. Everything is comfortable, and well equipped. The best guest house experience I have ever had.
