Owner very helpful and friendly.
There are some things I would recommend that they can focus on.
Not animal friendly. Does not have kitchen utensils to cook. Can't barbecue outside if it's raining. Has no easy chairs to watch TV. Does not have outdoor facilities to hang out outside.
Beautiful surroundings. Lovely stay there.
Had a wonderful stay. Quiet and peaceful.
Amber Heights was the ideal place for us to stay. The owner went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Will definitely visit again.

Amber Heights is located at just a 5 minute drive from Wilderness beach and has good restaurants, shops and a petrol station very close by. In the surroundings there is so much to explore: George, Knysna, Plettenberg Bay, Tsitsikamma National Park, etc etc. The room is comfortable and complete and there is a lovely view from the terrace.
We especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, away from all the traffic and noise of vehicles. Although it is a short drive to the sea, you still have the beautiful view of the sea. A plus point is the beautiful nature with native vegetation. The birds' song was a song in our ears.
