I will definitely visit and spend the night at The Hidden Inn again. Very pleasant and friendly people. It feels like your home away from home and you feel right at home.
This is the best place in Pietermaritzburg to stay. The owners are very friendly and helpful and always make an effort.

Stayed at Hidden Inn and it was awesome. Would definitely recommend and the owner is very friendly.
The room was big and well equipped with a TV, microwave, fridge, kitchenette, a small dining table (where breakfast was served) and a writing desk. A backup generator supplied electricity during load shedding. Viv also provided very safe parking in a lock-up garage for our Toyota Hilux. Three complaints though: the mattresses were totally worn out, the towels dilapidated with one even having a visible tear, and the oil heater was not working.
Signing up was easy and convenient. The people were friendly and the free breakfast delicious.
We would highly recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful reception by Vivian, the owner. The facility, neatness, service, and atmosphere were amazing. I will definitely book there again and promote it to my colleagues and friends.
Spacious and very neat. Rooms, pool nice and clean and was a relief in severe heat we experienced.
Very welcome and had a comfortable, quiet evening.
Although we only stayed one night it was wonderful to be able to feel so at home. Vivian went out of her way to make us comfortable and we had the most delicious breakfast. Really pleasantly surprised and was able to relax wonderfully.

Everything was great (spacious room, cleanliness, customer service). Only problem was the parking - my car's undercarriage got scraped when I reversed out of the garage and for the 3 days my car had to park outside of the premises. I have a standard 2017 Audi A4, which does not have a dropped suspension, so that was unexpected.
The hostess, Vivian, was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was tasty and sufficient. The room was spacious and clean and there was enough coffee and tea available.
