Had a great sleep and the room is nicely decorated.
Worked most of the time so only slept at guest house.
The host was very friendly, explained everything nicely for the "loadshedding" where all the emergency lights are. We ate our fill in the morning with breakfast, it was very delicious. Will definitely stay there again in the future.
We spent an incredibly pleasant time in Homestead Guest House, host made us feel so welcome and spoiled us with the most delicious breakfast. Everything was neat, clean and very comfortable. We would recommend it to any guests who want to stay overnight. Thank you Marlene and Henry, you are stars!
Great for a stop and go.
There are no frills. It is a clean, comfortable place to spend the night. The owner/manager is very helpful.
The Homestead Guesthouse & Coffee Shoppe is a very comfortable place to stay. We slept 2 nights and had breakfast every morning. Very nice breakfast and fresh coffee are waiting for you when you wake up. When we came back after being out, the water was off (due to a municipal pipe burst), but the host went out of their way to make it convenient for us and also to solve the problem. He waited there until very late at night until the water was turned on again.
Probably not very attractive from the outside, but it was a nice guest house to sleep at and enjoy a delicious breakfast. Travelers can definitely stay here.
The place is very lovely, the most unfortunate part is the closure of the coffee shop was the main attraction for our bookings. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever taken in a restaurant.
Very nice stay the 2 days, guest house is very neat, just a pity the coffee shop was not open during our stay, it would have helped a lot because we are not from the area and do not know where to get meals. However, owner was very helpful even helped to carry the luggage and he was there every morning from early until late at night. One complaint though is they didn't clean our room, I'm not sure why but I didn't report it to the owner. We will definitely stay there again if such an opportunity comes our way.

I was here on a business trip, worked after hours a lot and couldn't really enjoy the facilities, but the food and accommodation were very good.
The Homestead Guesthouse & Coffee Shoppé is very conveniently located near the main road. I was worried about trucks bothering me through the night, but it wasn't a problem then. Breakfast is served from early, which helped us because we wanted to drive as early as 06:15 in the morning. The rooms are not large, but are well equipped with everything needed.
We enjoyed it. Heard some traffic noise but it wasn't annoying. Breakfast was very nice. Friendly service.
It was a great stay and have recommended it to family and friends.
