The Executive suite with its Four Poster bed, spa bath and double shower is also suitable for a Honeymoon couple.
Beds can be inter-changeable, please specify when booking if you'd prefer a double or a twin bed.
A Conference facility with accommodation is also available should people want to break free to somewhere to concentrate, plan, team-build, brainstorm or just build friendships and relax in tranquil surroundings.
A well appointed Gazebo and dining room provides for a perfect setting for weddings of +/-120 people. A fixed menu, buffet style family meal is served in the cosy dining room, special meals being served by prior arrangement. Many a pleasant evening has been spent in the small bar ‘the Tam o’ Shanter’, with it’s definitely Scottish atmosphere.

Our expectations were far exceeded with the neat, well-equipped rooms, the beautiful gardens, clean swimming pool and the most delicious food. We have not been so spoiled with hospitality and a fabulous sheep on the spit on New Year's Eve, as well as socializing with other guests. Additionally, the bartender provided 5 star service. We don't have enough words to sum up this 4-day old-world visit; it was simply breathtaking. Thank you very, very much; we will visit again for sure!

We just stayed one night at the Homestead and it was positive. We enjoyed the "farm atmosphere" a lot, yet the Homestead offers more than one would expect from a 3-star hotel: pool, gym, large game room, 10-pin bowling (slightly primitive, but it has quite a character!), puzzles and even a library. If you want to get away from the city and don't expect much luxury, the Homestead is the perfect place.

Was wonderful. Would maybe enjoy a little fridge in the room. I brought cold-drink from town and would like to keep it cold for personal use. Just a suggestion. Very nice, affordable quality accommodation.

The Homestead is a home away from home, with well appointed rooms, undercover parking, cosy lounges with a big fire, a neat pub and scrumptious meals. Standing out above all was the warm hospitality and especially the incredibly good value. If there was any disappointment it was one thing only: we could see two strong "Homestead" WiFi signals, but they could not help us with getting connected. In today's world, travelers really require reaching their email, checking on business, weather, onward itineraries, bookings, etc. and to be without connectivity, yet knowing it was there, was a real frustration.
Tasty and healthy meals. Clean Rooms. Friendly staff and good service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Homestead and will recommend it to anyone.

Route to The Homestead was unclear. GPS takes one into the field. The owner was very hospitable and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.
Surroundings promotes peace, kindness and enjoyment. We were refreshed and energised by our visiting the Drakensberg park. Enjoyed the great food and hospitality. Food more than six stars.
It's a bit out of the way, but the delicious food and hospitality make up for it. Central and Northern Drakensberg are only 40 minutes away.

It was a fantastic stay characterized by great food and awesome value for money. Hosts were very attentive, and my children enjoyed the relaxed environment.
Great place to stay if you really want to do nothing but relax. Would have liked to have lunch on the premises - and since I couldn't, would not recommend a stay longer than 4 days.
