The hut surprised me very pleasantly. We were received very kindly, the rooms were well furnished and very tidy and everything we needed was there. Our hostess called me when we were late to see if we were safe. My children and we enjoyed every moment. I recommend for sure.

Our motorbike tour to the Eastern Cape started at Burgersdorp and I can definitely recommend "The Hut". Rooms have everything we needed with nice comfortable beds and friendly service. The optional breakfast was delicious!
The room we stayed in, No. 7, and it was very comfortable, the electric blanket was great! The breakfast was excellent, the price was R85 per person. We also did not know that the room was equipped with crockery and cutlery for semi self-catering. There was no bathmat in the bathroom.
We come from the hospitality industry and can really recommend this guest house. Since you drive through the gates, this overnight facility ticks all the boxes. Terrain is neat, tasteful and absolutely safe. Reception is warm and the room we stayed in has met everything that a tired traveller needs. Rooms are tastefully decorated and the interior decoration is well looked after. We stayed in one of the self-catering units with our car right in front of the unit. Feeling so safe and able to enjoy rest in silence and under good linen. Would we ever stay at Burgersdorp again, it would definitely be here!

The Hut is ideally located for people visiting family in Dirk Postma Tehuis. The grounds and rooms are very clean and tidy and offer good value for money.

Received a friendly welcome at The Hut Guesthouse after a long journey. The beds were particularly comfortable, something that is rarely the case in guesthouses.
I visited the place for the first time somewhere in April/May I guess it still give the first impression I got first time. The hosts are welcoming and as I said it is home away from home. Thank the hut staff keep up the good work.
Maybe the guest house could consider offering breakfast on occasions for as long as there are visitors on site and not leaving earlier than the breakfast period. Thank you very much for a very warm welcome. The next time we make it to that side of Eastern Cape I'll consider staying at The Hut again.
