7 guests' feedbackWithout sounding ungrateful, just a few things that can be imporved that will make a huge difference to the stay. Water presure is almost non existant, very unpleasant showering experience. I stayed in room 3, and the tab on the basin was completely loose. A lot of light bulbs are not working, including some plugs, both bedside lambs did not work. Plugs at the bedside would be great to charge phones and other divices. All covid 19 signage can be removed, it's not required anymore.
Very nice stay. Just experienced a little too much "loadshedding".
A really impressive property, just a shame the stove doesn't actually work, the rubbers on the inside are broken and don't close properly, the door handles are coming loose - one of our members was trapped in the bathroom, and the bottom bar could we didn't use because the fireplace didn't work - the whole house was full of smoke. We will go again if this gets attention.
We had an unforgettable weekend with friends in this beautiful home. Bar area with bar, braai and breathtaking views definitely made it worthwhile. We will go again anytime. Also received excellent service from Anneline.
We spent the last weekend at the Irish Rock for a mini golf tour at Highland gate. Wow were we amazed to find this gem, the view is stunning and attention to detail of the house is perfect. I would like to thank Anneline for being such a great host she recommended the drop off service from the Flycatcher restaurant which is located on the estate, the food was exceptionally and well priced. I would recommend the Irish Rock Guest house to anyone who wants a break away for a weekend.
Our family had an absolute great time for the weekend. The attention to detail in the house is exceptional. The location is perfect and the view is amazing, you want to sit at the big wooden table all day long. We went on a short walk to the waterfall and it needs to be on your list. If you're looking for something special, don't think twice about booking at the Irish Rock Guesthouse.
A beautiful, spacious house that comfortably accommodates 8 people. Dullstroom is not far, but there are also many other activities, e.g. golf, fishing and hiking trails. The Irish Rock Guesthouse can definitely be recommended.
