The photos on LekkeSlaap captured us but it still didn't prepare us for the breathtaking picture when we got there. Although it was raining when we arrived, it was no worry as the balcony has enough shelter from the rain and with the living room overlooking the sea the rain was no obstacle. The unit is well furnished and Zama, the cleaner, is a "breath of fresh air". Being able to barbecue while looking at the sea and sleep at night with the sound of the waves is definitely therapy for city jays. With restaurants and beaches within walking distance, we literally parked the car and walked where we wanted to be.

In the future please advise users that the beach access as advertised is closed as well as an option to look at getting aircon as well as house rules beforehand ie. the pool hours. We are awake from 5 am and I have to wait till 9 am in the morning to go for a swim. Without those issues resolved I won't be returning.

Amazing view. Saw dolphins and whales every day from the balcony. The home is missing some essentials like specific utensils, matches or lighter, plastic cups for kids, a dishwasher would be a huge plus, and gas braai is in need of some maintenance. Otherwise, loved it. The Wi-Fi was an awesome plus. We were sad to leave.

Leaving the comfort of our home is always daunting, what is advertised is not always what you get. I am so impressed with the cleanliness of beds and place. That is always my no1. concern. The Island 15 is tidy, well equipped and has a beautiful view. It's definitely value for money!

"Panoramic view with the sound of waves."

We stayed briefly for two days and will definitely return for a longer stay. The master bedroom and living areas connect with sliding doors to the large veranda that offers a panoramic view. Very private and quiet place for a romantic getaway. If you are not the beach-laying type, the place will fall for you. You can sleep with the doors open to the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks below. Lattice doors provide further security at night for the master bedroom. The place is very clean, tidy and well equipped with gas grill on the veranda with equipped kitchen. Bedrooms are very nicely decorated. One of the cleanest and neatest places we have ever visited. The large porch is under thatch and the large sliding doors make it pleasant even without an air conditioner. Ceiling fans help circulate the air. The place lends itself to prefer staying with open doors instead of closed doors with an air conditioner. Check-in and check-out is very easy with the front door key available in a locked box at the front door which is opened with a code. Karin communicated the codes a day in advance and was available all the time. It was a pleasant stay for us.

Only 2 things was a bit worrying the patio is very slippery when it rains one of us had a bad fall, it should have been no-slip tiles there. The couch and 2 chairs in the lounge is too low for us older people to sit on.

A nice, spacious holiday apartment with everything you need and a very nice view, especially sunrise in the mornings.

This stay exceeded our highest expectations. Modern, child-friendly, clean and tidy. There isn't anything we would have liked differently. Terribly good customer service, Karin made sure we knew exactly what to do on arrival and departure. Two of the rooms have an amazing sea view not to mention the veranda area, 180° view. We didn't miss a single sunrise. There is a friendly cleaner who comes every day to make sure everything is nice and clean, we really enjoyed her enthusiasm. It is located very close to the best swimming beaches (walking distance), and only a few minutes drive to the nearest shopping centers. We will not even look for other accommodation next time, will return here again and again.
