4 guests' feedbackMy husband and I wanted to get away to rest and that is exactly what The Island Cottage offered us. "What you see is what you get". It is terribly quiet there and we enjoyed it very much. Thank you very much Denette for your excellent hospitality, we will always remember your kindness. The 3 days we were there were one for the books.
With just the change of scenery in mind, The Island Cottage totally hit us for a 6. It was everything we didn't expect, and more. The silence was heaven on earth. The people are amazing and hospitable and friendly, and just everything. I will definitely use The Island Cottage again. You guys are great!
The property was exactly as advertised, well situated and considered an ideal location to explore the Augrabies area and the falls. The host was very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I am happy to give this accommodation a 5 star rating and I would recommend The Island Cottage to friends.
We stayed two nights at Island Cottage and it was lovely. It is in a peaceful quiet environment and the house was so neat and clean that it made one feel welcome. The hostess and host also contributed to making us feel at home. There was everything we needed for our stay and furthermore the interior decoration of the house was done with care. On a next visit we will definitely stay there again. Thank you very much for making us feel so at home.
