The feeling I got as we walked up the path to the house and entered the house was that someone really went out of his or her heart to spoil us. There were surprises and treats everywhere, the decor was a big surprise, my artistic cup overflowed! Thank you very much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful house, we will come again!
Incredible, would highly recommend. The design is really cool, and self check-in is very nice. Just make sure you put the correct name into your maps, as the accommodation is in a completely different place.

Now that was one fantastic nice overnight stay and unforgettable experience. Will definitely stay there again.
The accommodation was very comfortable and tidy. During load shedding, all the lights and WiFi still worked. Upon our arrival, we were spoiled with nice juice, water, Nespresso coffee and almonds. The accommodation really goes the extra mile which we really appreciated.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage is within walking distance of the Karoo Art Hotel and many restaurants in Barrydale. I would rather recommend the House as it's bigger and at the same rate. But I can't fault the cottage as it's ideal for a couple.

Love the water and electrical wiring that runs outside the walls - neat and practical. Cement floors also very nice.
The kitchen was not equipped with everything, was looking for a gas stove to make food in the pan. Then had to buy myself a black pot to do justice to the fire. Furthermore, the relaxation was nice.

No parking for Karoo Moon House. Only in the street. Information about the house came on WhatsApp and we didn't have WiFi. Did not have our phones on mobile data. Had to phone for entry code. SMS notification might have helped. However it all worked out in the end.

The worst thing about our stay was that we could only stay one night! Karoo Moon House is equipped with the most beautiful decor and everything one needs to make your stay worthwhile. Moon Cottage is a stones throw from all the restaurants and shops. A village to stay in for more than one night.
The cottage was clean and tidy. Everything you need and more. Lots of attention to detail and decor. Peaceful, quiet area. Walking distance to restaurants.
Me and my partner both absolutely adored the little cottage. Everything had been thought of, from aircon, to keyless entry and exit, to Wi-Fi and a little Bluetooth speaker. All basic bathing products were provided, as well as coffee and tea amenities. It had everything we could have asked for and more in such a small little place. We also loved the quirky décor. We wish we could move the place around with us and use it as our accommodation for the rest of our travels.
Will we sleep there again? Definitely! And if you love antiques, this is the place for you. Thanks also to Bekkie who quietly cleaned each day and replenished the delicacies.
