The cottage comprises 3 bedrooms, one of which is en suite with a shower. The first bedroom contains a queen-size bed, the second bedroom contains a double bed and the third bedroom contains 2 single beds. There is a second bathroom with a shower. The cottage also comprises a kitchen and a lounge and dining area. Two of the bedrooms and the lounge and dining area open onto a large sunny verandah with comfy couches and a large table for alfresco dining. The other bedroom has its own private verandah.
The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a gas stove, an oven, kettle, toaster, a microwave and a fridge. A wooden viewing deck allows for beautiful sunset or sunrise views, and the cottage also offers braai facilities. All the rooms have ceiling fans. There is a wood-burning fireplace in the lounge area, and electric blankets on all the beds to keep guests warm on those cold Karoo nights. Off-street parking is available and linen and bath towels are provided. Wifi also available.
Batteries and an inverter keep the fans, lights, Wi-Fi and cellphone charging facilities on during loadshedding.

We had a great time. The reception by the hostess was truly a belt under the heart. The view in the morning is breathtaking and the authentic style is definitely top notch. It complements the historicity of the building very well.

We had a very nice stay. Only problem was the steps at the front porch - they are very high for old knees.
Very nice stay at Karoo Prinia. Everything we needed was available. In winter, the electric blankets and fireplace are very nice. The stoep is also a lovely place to visit. Jenny communicated with us all the time and everything was perfect upon our arrival.

We had a wonderful stay in this authentic Karoo cottage which even has an inverter. We could walk everywhere to explore the village and then relax on the stoep.
We were four adults and the house suited us wonderfully. Even with the heavy load shedding we had no problem because the owners provided well.
We missed a TV a bit in the evenings, but there is enough reading material and games available. Also nice that provision has been made for load shedding. Old historic cottage has been so beautifully restored that it does not detract from the appearance and character at all.
That porch and fireplace are fantastic! Atmosphere is peaceful, nice and private. Just make sure the owner explains to you how the solar geyser works. Evening hot, morning cold. And there are also no electric blankets as in the description (but plenty of warm blankets for the cold). Over all had a great stay!

Jenny is a wonderful hostess. Everything was clean and tidy. The sheltered sun porch is fantastic. The duster and electric blankets were a winner! The property is securely fenced and pet friendly. Very nice visit, quiet environment and against the hill. Will definitely visit again!
This was our second visit to The Karoo Prinia and we had a wonderful stay. Neat, comfortable and safe accommodation in a quiet environment.

The hostess put the most delicious, local fresh milk in the fridge for us, and then more delicious cookies. Our 2 dogs were safe on the fenced premises. Thank you very much.
Charming and traditional old cottage surrounded by Spekboom, just what the doctor ordered for a quiet family weekend away. Great showers, firm beds, wifi and a gas oven/hob - all a plus. In walking distance to almost everything in Prince Albert. The furniture is old, which suits the age of the building, so don't expect modern and new, enjoy true Prince Albert heritage. The stoep is the best part, we spent hours with our feet up, reading and relaxing.
Had a great time. Will visit there again.
The house has a nice patio that makes for cozy evenings. If I could improve something it would be the braai facilities.

All was well, glasses and cutlery needs a bit of attention. There were a lot of flies too, maybe spray the property.
Comfortable stay - just watch out for all the mozzies! Nice house, nice town, nice man.
