Everything was very pleasant. We recommend in future to have a better information system about the extra facility (i.e. extra fridge at the entrance of the property, as this can really help while the room has no kitchen facility). Otherwise, we will return with pleasure, the place is extremely well located and very clean, very good quality vs money.
Pleasant stay, good location. Our room was unfortunately located in the middle of a family celebration, so noisy. Would have been great if our room had been off to the side.
Lovely and relaxing!
Terrible. Nice! 2nd time and every time was a great treat!
A gem in the middle of Greyton, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Comfortable and clean room, with a little fireplace and electric blankets on the beds for the cold winter nights. The bed was very comfortable and warm, and the towels fluffy and seemed new. The shower is lovely, with high pressure and warmth. We enjoyed a pot of coffee in the morning on the little stoep before heading out for the day. For the price, you can't beat this spot.
Clean, beautiful accommodation, great location.
A wonderful relaxing weekend in a peaceful environment.
Good and tranquil vibe. Loved the fireplace.
So nice. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The room was wonderful and the setting perfect.
I had a wonderful stay. The rooms are nice and clean, white cotton sheets, nice bed, nice shower with good water pressure, fireplace in the room (not used because it was summer when I visited), nice porch in front of your door and big trees to sit under. I could hear people sitting outside talking in the morning, but it didn't bother me. Was very peaceful and almost felt like staying in a small town. I would definitely stay there again.
Very cute little place with everything needed for a non-self catering. Was still able to make coffee and use a communal microwave and fridge. Very centrally located. Loved the nice stoepie and nice view. Another plus was that the WiFi stayed on during load shedding and a light for the room.
Very central. As I had to do some work online, it was very pleasant sitting outside my unit under the trees. I would have preferred a bar fridge in my room.
Our stay at The Lady Grace was a very pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
We slept well, but a microwave oven can also help to heat milk and road food a little.
Lovely setting and really made for a special weekend away!
Beautiful neat room. Had a wonderful stay.
We really enjoyed our stay for the second time, the place was clean, staff were very helpful and friendly.
Charming. Very central. In terms of hotel star ratings, probably 2 stars.
Yes, great stay. Neat and clean. Rooms cozy with the wood heater.
Had a lovely stay. Centrally located.
Lovely setting with friendly staff. The only letdown was not enough hot water in the morning. Additional charges for coffee/tea.
Excellent location and a wonderful room with a fireplace, which we used on our second night. Friendly reception and checkout.
It was very neat and peaceful, thank you.
We had a very nice stay. Spiders and insects were a problem in some rooms.
Awesome stay. Very well placed and clean. Great place for a getaway.
The room was fine for our purposes - we were there for a wedding and just needed a place to sleep. We were lucky to be able to bring our dog with us, but unfortunately there was no outside area for the dog. At least she's small and we took her out for our business. The room is very neat and spacious, and the bathroom was also very well equipped. Only minor "complaint" is that a security guard (or so he says) came knocking on our door (which is on the street) around 2am to say the panic button in our room had gone off and he wanted to come see what was going on . There is no panic button in our room and we were fast asleep. We spoke to him through the window and at least he left - it was just a little "suspicious".
I would just expect the shower to have a glass door and not a plastic curtain. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The room is very neat with a fireplace which we used because the evenings were cold.
Our room was very small compared to the other rooms. We were two people, where there were some of my friends who stayed alone and had a very big room. Yet everyone paid the same. The roof fan made a terrible noise. Andrea was very helpful.
We stayed 2 nights, we were disappointed that no room cleaning service was offered after the first night.
Pleasant, apart from an extremely noisy vehicle revving at midnight and again at 1 am, but not the accommodation to blame. The bathroom is a bit rundown. One shower is only cold, the other is scalding hot and difficult to adjust the temperature. The rugs are grubby.
Sadly disappointed. Crickets.
Room smelt musty, carpets felt grubby. Outside light should be a security and not a bright 'always on' light. The curtains were old and thin and did not block light. Room was not cleaned by midday, and dirty ashtrays on outside table were not removed a day or so later. Bed comfortable, shower brilliant. Rooms a bit 'tired' - internal courtyard needs a good refresh.
Fantastic place! Great location.
This is the most beautiful place! Rooms beautiful. Will go back again and again! Walking distance from all shops.
I absolutely loved how easy it was to retrieve our room keys from the little box outside and just go about our stay. The world is so corrupted these days, so to be entrusted in this way as first-time guests was just refreshing. The accommodation is an amazing cosy little spot in our favourite town. Amazing, clean, safe.
Greyton very quiet town with nice places to eat and shops and nice walking paths.
The unit met all our requirements.
The shower has plenty of hot water!
Close to everything.
An almost farm feel with everything you need.
Second visit to Lady Grace. Value for money.
The Lady Grace is conveniently and centrally located.
Lovely venue. Area is safe and well positioned to get to the restaurants and shops.
Very neat, clean and spacious unit. Friendly reception. Bonus: the use of a communal fridge and ice. Safe, quiet and walking distance to most restaurants and shops. Will definitely stay there again.
Greyton was 39 degrees on Saturday and we enjoyed relaxing in a lovely cool room before our evening festivities.
The facilities were clean and tidy. This is a very simple spot but great value for money in a fantastic location.
Stay was amazing, quiet and perfect for a short stay.
Room and hotel in general was very pretty and well kept. The owner is awesome to talk to and clearly cares about the business and making the guests happy!
Comfortable, warm. Good shower. No grass for dog but not a major problem for a short stay.
Location is great. Neat and clean. If you are looking for a place to sleep, shower and drink coffee, then this is the right place! Thank you.
Lady Grace's location is ideal for exploring the town on foot.
Very close to everything, very reasonable price, everything you need.
It was the perfect location and stay for our family for the weekend. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.
The place is very central and is within walking distance of places to eat etc. Greyton is a beautiful place and this place to stay makes the visit even more pleasant. Standards are high and recommended.
We were "pleasantly surprised" how beautiful it is at Lady Grace. Our host Brandi was great to talk to and made us feel very welcome. The room was comfortable and clean. They just need to provide enough toilet paper in the bathrooms. Otherwise we had no complaints. Would definitely recommend Lady Grace. Greyton is a beautiful town.
The guesthouse is very nice, but we had a different expectation. In the photos the place looks luxurious and in reality, the place is old and tired. It was very comfortable and offered everything we needed for an overnight stay.
A friend stayed in room 13 and was less than happy as it was not as well appointed as the rooms the rest of our group had.
Accommodation was very central. Could walk to all the restaurants and shops. Booked 2 rooms. The one room was unfortunately at the back of the building with no view of the inner garden. Sufficient for one night's sleep.
Convenient and comfortable.
Room was very well equipped and comfortable.
Very friendly host - we appreciated the use of the communal fridge/freezer to store our cold foods.
See stars.
We had a nice stay there for one night.
We stayed here to attend the Greyton Wine festival. We found it very central. Staff were very friendly, and we loved the many different places to sit and chat.
Reminiscent of old farmhouses with thick walls and internal wooden shutters.
Rooms were very comfortable and value for money.
Affordable, neat accommodation option that is very centrally located and within walking distance of everything. Only suggestion is to look at TV options in room.
We had a nice stay. You get what you pay for. Our keys were arranged. Thank you very much.
Very centrally located.
Very old. Painted cement floors. Bed is done. Worst mattress. Plastic shower curtain - gross. Fireplace wood too thick to get started with 2 pieces of blitz. Room stinks of fireplace smoke. Towels are at the end of their life.
Our accommodation felt a little cramped, but you can sit on the veranda, as does every room on both sides. There is coffee and tea. Lady Grace is very centrally located. Greyton feels like they are still picking up their heads after Covid. The town must once again enter for Town of the Year on Kwêla! Lady Grace's room where we stayed was a little cramped, but neat. Lady Grace has excellent wi-fi! The porches of all the rooms outside are open and have chairs. The restaurant, Via, just around the corner, is an excellent restaurant and would highly recommend it.
Well it is a very basic place to stay with no lounge, TV, radio. Simply a room with a shower/toilet. We got there early and really had nothing to do until we went to sleep. Yea it will take too much to make it more acceptable.
Room is OK, but the bed is uncomfortable.
Clean, bedrooms were spacious and very friendly staff.
Our two sisters had a wonderful stay. The beds slept well and the shower was great! We were walking distance from the town centre, absolutely ideal. Can recommend.
Our family room (2 rooms each with its own bathroom) was nice and comfortable.
We just needed a place to stay for one evening. The Owner, Antonio, met us there and was so friendly. Rooms were very neat and clean and was more than enough for what we required. Will definitely be back (hopefully sooner than later).
There is nothing about Lady Grace that we did not thoroughly enjoy. The quality of the room, its cleanliness and superb furnishing is right up there. Then there is the peaceful ambience of the the well layed-out courtyard where we could really relax. Above all, we so enjoyed the friendliness of Antonio and the rest of the staff. Should we ever have to visit Greyton again there is no doubt that the Lady Grace will be our place of choice.
You feel safe and can enjoy the tranquility of the valley. The hospitable people and breathtaking view of the mountains and nature are what make it extra special.
We were welcomed by our friendly host who showed us to our room. It was comfortable, clean and we will definitely recommend everyone to stay here.
Clean and tidy place to stay with very friendly owner (Antonio) and staff.
Comfortable, quaint and exactly what we needed. The staff and owner is always friendly and accommodating. We love staying here!
Room was very comfortable.
Good location and close to everything in and around Greyton.
Great stay! Highly recommended!
Nice. Will visit Greyton again, and would love to check in at The lady Grace again.
Owner also advised us on nice restaurants.
The Lady Grace is walking distance from the most delicious restaurants. Ideal if you just want to read, sleep and eat!
A small table fridge in the room would be nice.
Our room was very small but very clean. The open fireplace made everything smell of smoke.
A town you need to visit again.
It's very neat and the room has everything you need. Our room did not have its own porch, which would have been convenient, and parking is on the street, which I was somewhat uncomfortable with as we wanted to leave some of our luggage in the vehicle, but had to carry everything out.
Conveniently close for a weekend drive from George/Mossel Bay. Good tarmac from the N2. Wonderful, peaceful environment.
Very cute place with Greek theme.
The visit was nice. Also the nearby village, Genadendal.
Good welcome. Only criticism is the fridge which is shared by everyone.
We will definitely use this place again if we ever go to Greyton again.
Nice place. Thanks for that.
Nice to see Greyton - LG within walking distance to most places of interest.
This time, we took friends and they loved the place also. Our room was upgraded and it was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. Making a fire in the room was a bad idea though. The smoke messed up the experience. We requested change of towels, but they never came to do it. Bummer.
Very unfriendly, grumpy owner. He grumbled because we asked for more coffee grounds. Stayed there for 3 days (2 nights). Enough coffee for 1 drink! I went to buy my own. He (and his staff) disappeared. No further interest. Inhospitable
Excellent location and good value for money.
What a peaceful experience after the rush, an oasis to be refreshed by. Thank you for a wonderful night that will stay with us for a long time.
My teenage daughter and I celebrated her 16th birthday with a road trip and kicked it off with a visit to The Lady Grace. What an experience! In my daughter's words: "Mommy, it feels like we're on the set of Mamma Mia!" We'll be back for the sequel for sure!
They went to a lot of trouble. We had a lovely stay. The rooms were crisp and clean. The place is very neat. The owners went to a lot of trouble for us, a group of 20, so that we could braai and have a good time. Room were super clean and convenient.
Very comfortable, great place to stay in.
I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the accommodation! The attention they gave to furnishing the rooms. I felt welcome and safe.
What a nice two days. Been lovely. Nice room, nice hot water shower. Thank you very much will go again. Thank you very much. Kobus and Ina Blom.
Very nice and would go stay there any time.
The Lady Grace is as charming as her name. Andrea the host was present upon arrival and assisted our settling in - personal touch which was wonderful. And that The Lady Grace is such a wonderful town as Greyton made it ever more so special.
Room was cozy and snug with warm blankets and electric heater. With snow on the mountains, it was definitely needed. We also selected the Lady Grace due to them being pet-friendly as we had our Husky traveling with us.
Perfect location, peaceful atmosphere. Owner specially arranged braai for me.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the superior room, with its own ball and claw bathtub and fireplace. The courtyard area is relaxing under the trees. Location is super convenient to walk to Greyton's many restaurants and shops.
The rooms are very comfortably furnished with everything you need and it is very centrally located so you can walk to all the amenities in town.
Beautiful accommodation and very friendly and helpful owners. Will definitely stay there again!
We loved every moment. Andrea and Antonio were so warm and welcoming and our room was fabulous. It is a haven of tranquillity and pure bliss. There are no apt words to describe The Lady Grace and the town of Greyton, other than a home away from home. We loved every moment. Andrea and Antonio at The Lady Grace were so warm and welcoming and our room was fabulous. It is a haven of tranquillity and pure bliss. If you need a real getaway but still want to be within walking distance of fabulous restaurants and pavement cafes. The Lady Grace is a must and the town of Greyton is a gem. Thank you to Antonio and Andrea!
Very neat and clean, very good value for money and ideally situated close to shops and restaurants.
Fantastic value for money. Centrally located.
Was very comfortable and safe and clean.
Everyone was friendly and helpful. The place is nice central and many options for eating out.
Unbelievable silence. Greyton is a dream.
Absolute peace and tranquillity. Beautiful rooms and outdoor area. Antonio was a gracious host. Can't wait to come back!
Friendly staff who go out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. If you are looking for a peaceful stay, this is the place to visit.
The owner made me feel absolutely at home, it's also very safe and it's a friendly town. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for tranquility and wants to get away from the city's noise. It's clean and tidy.
Staff are very friendly, room clean, lots of wood for fire. Check out was at 10:00, we did the Brew Trail Run and left our car parked at the Lady Grace. On return I decided to ask if we could please use the room to change, it was now 11:15, they kindly allowed us to shower as well, at no extra cost. Overall a fantastic place to stay.
We stopped off at the Lady Grace between 2 hikes and got a charming welcome. The room was neat and clean. What stood our was the willingness to go that extra mile and provide assistance when asked for. Nothing was too much effort. We really appreciate it and hope to be back!
Quiet and on a side street near a shop.
We loved our stay.
Whatever your reason to get away to Greyton, the Lady Grace is a great spot to return to each time. From there you can explore the many restaurants and curious shops in this unique town. Antonio is ever friendly and helpful and will go out of his was to make you happy. This is our second time here and we'll be back. The hotel is exactly as it looks in the pictures. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The town has plenty of spots to explore on foot or by mountain bike.
Prettiest views of the mountains from the rooms, perfect location and great service! Would definitely recommend this beautiful space!
Central, close to all the shops. Liked the outside area.
A friend and I were looking for a place to spend the night before starting a second hiking trail the next day. Lady Grace's room was the perfect place for two mums looking to escape the busy home life with children. The linen was clean and it, as well as the soap in the bathroom, smelled so refreshing and fresh.
We enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean and decent sized. Appreciated the antique furniture and the garden courtyard was a great place to unwind after a day of exploring.
The location of the guesthouse is perfect.
Enjoyed the absence of a TV set. A radio would however be welcome. Some emergency lighting for loadshedding e.g. a rechargeable torch is necessary.
The peaceful atmosphere is what I enjoyed the most.
Very quaint little village. Weekend stay better as not all shops open everyday. Especially restaurants, found it frustrating when wanting to have a meal.
The supplies in the room were very generous. Thumbs-up for the electric blanket and the fire place. I did feel a bit nervous about the safety, as there is only a key to lock the door. I also didn't like that the communal fridge and microwave are accessed by leaving the room to go outside.
Security: May have access control at main entrance. Or a card or code to get gate open.
Definitely worth the money!
This is a very cute place to stay in Greyton. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again anytime.
Stay at The Lady Grace was pleasant. Manager very friendly and helpful. Very central and safe. Will definitely use this accommodation again in the future.
Unfortunately, we may not have used the room's fireplace and the photos on the web page look different from reality.
If you want a place with a fireplace make sure to ask for one as the pictures look like they all have fireplaces but they don't.
The place was easy to find and is in walking distance of most of the restaurants. I would definitely come back to try out the other rooms.
Very good value for money! Will definitely stay there again.
The outside seemed a bit neglected as the pictures on the site seemed much neater. Being a diabetic I expect to find sweetener for the coffee, nothing however. Otherwise no problems.
Please arrange with guests arriving after 5, that they get the keys somewhere. We were very lucky to find Andrea 6h there.
Nice place for a quiet break, all places to eat are within walking distance. Will definitely go there again.
Well located and clean.
I will come again. The stay was just what I wanted.
The Lady Grace is well located and comfortable, but there is so much that can be offered from a service point of view. We had to ask for clean towels and to serve the coffee corner with clean cups and more coffees. It may be that the rooms are not serviced properly a. g. f. COVID-19 protocol not.
Reception was warm and friendly. We were pleased with the beautiful sitting area in the courtyard. The rooms were beautiful with lots of character. All that bothered me was that the shower curtain was dirty and that the soap and hand cream containers were half full. Our little porch looked out on the back of an old dilapidated house. Would recommend that owners put up a nice fence.
The staff is incredibly nice, but the building is old and the bathrooms not up to standard (poor ventilation, no window in bathroom of family suite, shower heads blocked). We've had a shower that doesn't drain the other day. The photos are also not indicative of the unit inside and the towels are old and dirty looking. It is very uncomfortable that there is no place to keep milk or water cold in the unit. The family unit is on the street where the mini market is and the local foot traffic and swearing can get bad. No safe off street parking.
Needs an update. Very old, beds need to be replaced. Will never go there again.
Only 1 single coffee received, mattress done, photos very misleading.
I was put in room number 17 as woman alone. It is so directly on the street and when I asked for another room I was told there aren't any other. Poor circulation in the room, hardly slept a wink.
They accommodated us with our dog which was great. But where we stayed was not in the pictures. I had to walk around to reception to put milk, bubbles and cold meat in a fridge, I did ask if there wasn't just a small fridge to put our snacks in the room, otherwise you have to walk a bit all the time to but the owner said he couldn't put a fridge and microwave in every room and started talking about how bad the economy is but in the same breath also said why they won a prize with tripadvisor. The shower's hot tap is broken so the flow is very bad, I had to put a towel around the tap to just turn it off. I will definitely not stay in that room again. And certainly not when it's raining either, because then you have to walk around in the main street just to warm something up or to get something out of the fridge.
Two rooms were booked. Went with friends to explore beautiful Greyton. Booked based on photos, but photos and reality differ. The 2 rooms do not appear in the photos at all. The rooms were not up to standard at all, no towels in 1 room and a thin extra blanket. No electric blanket or heaters, Greyton was freezing cold with the snow on the mountains. There were fireplaces in rooms with a few pieces of wood (we could buy more wood at the Minimark down the street). We decided not to stay in the 2 rooms. Owner was not at all happy with our decision and it showed. Thought the deposit would be refunded.
The Lady Grace is definitely my new favorite getaway destination. Everything is conveniently close and it's the best place to relax. Absolutely the best value for your money. Antonio and his team will definitely see us again.
Our second time, and you feel special every time.
Great location, great ambiance and just what we needed.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lady Grace.
Fantastic place. Central. Very safe. Great service. Friendly owner as well as staff. Will be our place to sleep when we visit Greyton again.
Enjoyed it.
Kind staff and great service.
It was our first weekend away with our Jack Russell. Perhaps very daring, but the animal-friendly room in Lady Grace was absolutely perfect, away from the other rooms and even a small piece of outside land. Would highly recommend this if anyone wants to take their dog with them.
Lady Grace is perfectly situated in the heart of Greyton, close to all amenities with breath-taking views of mountains from almost every angle. The reception on arrival was welcoming, the room was kept spotless and the staff were friendly. My 7 year old loved it and that is enough!
Most of the rooms lead to a peaceful courtyard where one can sit and relax. There is a large fridge where you can store food: free ice. Truly value for money. Best thing is the owner, Antonio. He tried to do his best to give us all we needed. Even a braai stand with wood!
Location is great, and staff very friendly and helpful.
Lovely room in a convenient location. Check-in was simple and great value for money.
Our stay went smoothly, restaurants within walking distance of our room. Centrally located. Everything was pleasant.
Great location within walking distance of shops and restaurants Relaxed atmosphere Beautiful garden with verandas leading out Cleanliness and good service Staff friendliness and helpfulness
Antonio and staff did an excellent job to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable! Well done!
The attention to small things is amazing, from the ground coffee to stickers on the toilet paper! Andrea went out of her way to accommodate my requests and Antonio knows exactly what visitors like. And the highlight is that The Lady Grace is right in the middle of town ─ walking distance from als.
Friendly welcome by owner, Antonio. Old building, but a well-preserved gem. Rooms are comfortable with beautiful antiques that catch the eye.
It's the most beautiful place and Antonio came to greet us after we checked in. Recommended places to eat made us feel very much at home.
The host was friendly. The accommodation was relaxing and calm.
Beautiful scenery. Clean town. Saturday market an experience.
Charming destination. Sorry we could only stay one night.
Just a request: the shower floor is very slippery when wet, use a shower mat or something non-slip instead. Otherwise beautiful and would like to go again.
Clean, central, friendly and there was a lot of attention to detail. We would stay there again anytime.
We missed provisions against mosquitoes, would think the owner should be aware and provide.
The accommodation is perfectly located, everything is a very short walking distance. Our first visit to Greyton, suspect there will be more!
Thank you for providing us with a microwave so that I was able to sterilise my babies bottles. The door was not able to be locked from inside so was a bit worried sleeping with an unlocked door. The room wasn't serviced - only after we asked at about 2 pm did someone come and replace refreshments.
The picturesque town of Greyton is the ideal place to relax and live slowly with the residents there. Lady Grace is centrally located and with all the attention to detail it felt like home.
Very nice, but old and not great facilities for the normal rate they charged. Needs DStv.
Lovely clean room. Beautiful baby blue colors everywhere in the room. Roof had cobwebs here and there and the shower curtain was plastic.
It provided everything needed, however Lady Grace is situated on a busy street and no off-street parking is available if your car is fully packed.
The owner has furnished it very nicely, with all the spots and interesting things in the garden. Beds comfortable. Rooms quietly furnished.
Will definitely stay at Lady Grace again and recommend.
Friendly staff and professional service.
Totally too short. Beautiful place in the heart of Greyton. Could walk everywhere.
The Lady Grace is a clean, neat and tastefully done accommodation venue. I enjoyed my three-day stay and will return. The shops, restaurants and quaint little town is all within walking distance. A beautiful setting and peaceful gardens to enjoy. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Overnight en route to Cape Town. Very comfortable and everything you need. Beautiful garden and surroundings. Would definitely recommend.
Lots of charm, a pleasant courtyard garden, a good night’s sleep and a good shower.
Antonio is a true gentleman. In the heart of the town. Rooms are spacious and detail contributes to a wonderful stay. The courtyard garden under the beautiful trees has interesting ornaments that create the most peaceful atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.
Thanks you to all the staff who made the experience special and unforgettable. Neat, stunning and definitely value for money.
On arrival Antonio was present to welcome us. He was very professional and within minutes we were in our room. The room was clean and tidy with the bed being very comfortable. Overall a very enjoyable, relaxing stay.
Quiet and a few minutes walk from great restaurants, a brewery and places to visit.
I stayed in room 18 and experienced a comfortable, clean room. The ambiance of this place is perfect for a quick getaway. The Lady Grace complemented Greyton and I will be sure to visit again. Highly recommended.
Really enjoyed our overnight stay. Will be back for a longer visit.
Our stay at Lady Grace was short but sweet.
What a stunning place with a stunning location and very good manager. I would recommend the place to anyone. Very nice rooms with everything you need. Braai facilities with plenty of wood. Very nice garden with lots of seats and even beds to lay and rest. Very safe. Ideal place for large groups because there are many rooms and everyone can socialise outside. Each room even has a fireplace.
Thank you very much for your kindness!
It is so quaint and lovely. We loved staying here. Super comfy. Loved the fireplace in the room too.
Ideal location during the Greytescape 3-day stage race over the June holidays. Perfectly located, only 100 m from the starting point. Fireplace, electric blanket and heater were a winner. Can recommend The Lady Grace as a starting point for anyone who enjoys outdoor and restaurant outings.
Lovely room with fireplace and plenty of firewood. Convenient location, walking distance to town. Friendly helpful staff.
We went to Greyton for a wedding and booked through the website. We were not disappointed.
Our room contained the necessary to ensure a comfortable stay. The room offers quality bedding and the electric blanket was a bonus. There is a very nice courtyard garden for morning/afternoon tea. Lady Grace is within walking distance of restaurants and shops and also the Saturday market. Since the room is the farthest from the communal fridge, I would recommend that a small fridge be installed in the room to keep water, milk and wine cold. Shower curtains must be replaced with a glass door and a freshener installed in the bathroom as the septic tank releases an unpleasant smell. Mosquitoes are always a pest and it is recommended that Doom or something similar be installed in the rooms. The candles in the room are romantic for a couple but there are no matches in the room to light them. There was no information booklet in the room indicating the town's restaurants, list of activities and emergency numbers. If there is WiFi, it would also be good to indicate the password in this booklet. We enjoyed our stay at Lady Grace and would stay there again.
Rooms are beautiful and are close to restaurants and attractions.
Nice stay. Will use again. Very central and good value.
We had a great time relaxing at Lady Grace. The room was very nice and the guest house is nice and central and we could walk everywhere (a treat if you usually sit in city traffic!).
The rooms are nice and Andrea was helpful.
The Lady Grace is definitely worth it, you get what you pay for and it's great. Our room was wonderful, very neat and comfortable. I believe it's a great place for a group to party and hang out and the Italian host was great, he really made us feel at home. They are very centrally located and people feel free to stay here.
It is a beautiful calm place right in the middle of Greyton. Everything clean and well maintained. Owner and staff very friendly.
We had a wonderful stay, the room was very nice, clean and tidy. It was also nice to be able to park your car and walk where you want to be.
Good reception with clean, comfortable room. The most interesting decor makes it unique and gives a sense of tranquility.
We had such a lovely stay! The room was clean, neat and tidy and we just loved the outside courtyard. Would definitely recommend.
A pleasant stopover and the manager was most charming and helpful.
The room was clean and staff very friendly.
Lady Grace is conveniently located near the hub of all that Greyton is known for. Our room was neat, clean and comfortable. Thank you for such a warm welcome, Andrea.
We had a wonderful stay. So central. Can walk anywhere and is very safe. Everything you need, up to a fridge at the entrance if you want to keep something cold.
Friendly welcoming and very neat accommodation. Highly recommended.
Staff was very friendly. The room was neat and then comfortable for our Scotty. The garden was neatly kept.
My only complaint was the unreliable WiFi. My partner had internet-based work to do. Other than that I was extremely happy with the place and service. Antonio is a lovely man.
Good location, beautiful building with character.
Thank you for a wonderful stay. Very conveniently situated. Cozy and loved the fire place in the room as it was particularly cold over our weekend stay.
Very affordable and pleasant accommodation - the location is within 50 meters of the main street, within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. We will use The Lady Grace again.
Neat guest house in a quiet neighborhood.
Room was neat and clean. The owner made an effort to accommodate us with much appreciated fridge facilities.
The location of Lady Grace is truly a plus, close to town and walking distance to most places. The only negative I can mention is the fact that we did not see any employee upon our arrival or departure. It makes me wonder if the guests are not important enough.
The Lady Grace was a lovely place to stay for a quick visit to Greyton on the eve of a Genadendal hike. Unfortunately, the office was already closed when we arrived at the guesthouse (it takes a while on a Friday afternoon to finish work in the city and then arrive in Greyton on time to catch the office open), but the key was left for us. Unfortunately, the office also only opened late on Saturday, so we didn't meet anyone from Lady Grace with our stay. However, everything was very well planned, so it wasn't a problem.
Lovely setting, but very disappointing that the owner allowed a group of woman to ‘braai’ in the courtyard and play loud music and get drunk. I did speak to him about it when we left and he raised his hands and said in a nice way, ‘What can he do?’
Was a good break. Enjoyed a lot.
Wonderful location! We enjoyed it very much!
What a beautiful place - an oasis right in the middle of town! Our stay was too short. There was a communication gap with the owner, however, which was kindly and quickly sorted out.
However, there is a problem with the fireplace in the unit where we stayed - the smoke comes back into the room by the ceiling.
Very beautiful, spoon and delicious. Very hospitable!
We were really surprised how cute Lady Grace is, we were there for two days. It's basic, but clean and tidy. I will definitely recommend them and will definitely go back myself. Well done.
Beautiful old world place, perfect location. Have a great time, will definitely visit again.
The courtyard is an oasis for the soul and everywhere old world charm has been creatively harnessed for an atmosphere that creates relaxed enjoyment.
The environment is beautiful. The accommodation is also nice, but there was no one to attend to our needs. Our room was not cleaned, even though we mentioned it to the owner. Also, we had to go buy our own toilet paper - no one replaced it. Otherwise, quite pleasant.
The room we booked is definitely not the room we booked. The shower is very small with a shower curtain that clings to you. And the bed is not put together well, so it makes noise if you move even slightly.
It is unacceptable to use shower curtains in 2019. The curtain was dirty and unhygienic. The bathroom has little space to put your bathroom case and make-up. The floor is cold. Bed bugs were broken and weathered. Behind the bed it was dirty - the general appearance of Lady Grace is untidy. The fences at each unit were dirty and porches were not clean. Not enough milk to make coffee - just enough for once. Reception closed - no one available to communicate with. Dirty and full of cobwebs around the fridge - which is for everyone's use. It is actually enclosed outside in a closet. Towels didn't have a nice smell.
We stayed in The Lady Grace for one night. The unit was very neat and clean. Antonio was friendly and helpful. I'd stay here again anytime.
I would definitely recommend it!

We arrived well after checkin-time but was assisted by our friendly host Antonio with guidance on how to access our unit on arrival. From the time we arrived until we departed we were warmly treated, we even had to extend our stay due to non availability of flights and were accommodated with no hassle. The service we got was remarkable. We enjoyed our stay. It is a cosy place overall.
Wat 'n ongelooflike plek! Romantiese, rustige plek! Ek en my man het in Kamer 15 gebly. Skoon, netjies mooi!
It was excellent and very neat. I forgot my shirt there and the owner mailed it to me. Will visit again.
We had a great time in the beautiful and peaceful atmosphere.
We were in a group of 16. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and helpful. The garden and surroundings are beautiful. The owner was very willing and went out of his way to be of service to us.
I don't like to write reviews, but Lady Grace deserves a fantastic one. We had a wonderful stay, felt welcome and relaxed. Will definitely go back and this time with the kids or a group of friends.
Beds and bedding of good quality, had a wonderful sleep, fireplace kept us nice and warm and created a peaceful atmosphere. Definitely value for money.
Beautiful room and garden. Nicely located close to everything.
A gem in a most stunning town. Awesome rooms in beautiful setting. Professional and friendly service from staff.
Friendly people. Quick response received when asking questions. Already booked another stay because of the discounted price during August.

Very beautiful and peaceful. Everything you need for a great night's rest.
The stay was excellent. Very peaceful feeling. There are only small things that are missing, such as more towel rails, door clips and mats, especially bathroom mats, as well as extra towels. Furthermore, it was a beautiful and delightful stay. The fireplace was the best as the building is quite cold and not in the sun. In summer this place will be great with the coolness. We love the place.
As we only wanted to stay one night, the room with its own bathroom was comfortable, well furnished and tidy. The fact that it is so centrally located is a bonus.
We were received warmly and the rooms are beautiful. The inside courtyard gives you an idea of a little Italian village. Just a suggestion from a woman's perspective. The bathrooms needs it's own dust bin for personal use (we had to use the kitchen bin) and also a small table to put down cloths and vanity. Other than that, it was the perfect get away. Thank you.
Good accommodation for a quick getaway.
Lady Grace is an absolutely stunning piece of gem on the corner of Oak Street. Located in the center of town. What they can add: a small fridge and microwave for those who like to heat something themselves or keep a cold drink for later than going to the store every time.
The reception was good and professional. Room and furniture have been somewhat neglected.
Very clean, but very cold. Fireplace is nice but takes a long time to heat the room. Shower curtain is out of place - a shower door would work much better and nice shower head. Will take little to upgrade room a bit.

Even before arrival, this discussion had already started to turn sour and I wanted to stay in another place with all my might, but then we pushed through. The last straw that broke the camel's back was when I told the owner, Antonio, that the fireplace wasn't getting a draft at all, and I was told it was the wind, maybe there was a move into Greyton. We had to sleep for three hours with the unit's door open and then we woke up with the door open to the smoke still pushing into the room. Mercifully it was just a nap and we didn't turn on the fireplace the first night we arrived. With the no circulation we would have suffocated. The owner then saw nothing wrong with it and asked what the problem was and if I wanted a heater. I looked at him surprised and said no, a new room. It was Friday afternoon a little before 5:00 p.m. Out of 15 rooms there were 4 bookings (including our sense). With a big sigh and a roll of the eyes I am told he will see what he can do. By this time, three days in, I was well fed up with his passive aggressive behavior. I was then shown a double bed (my brother and I were traveling together and of course I wasn't going to share a bed with my brother), and he said that was all he could do, but there were a whole host of other rooms open. I then said that I would find out in Caledon, we were on our way the very next day and I hoped there was availability. Mercifully there was when I went to find out. When I let it be known that we were going through Caledon, I was told that we had already made arrangements to stay there that night, to which I replied that I would not quarrel about money when it came to my health. To top it all off, I've been chronically ill for five years, and even though the breaks also take a lot out of me, it invigorates my soul, but this experience was bittersweet. When I checked out and settled the final amount, the invoice did include an extra night. He will just have to live with his conscience about it. The workers are lovely people, but the owner should rather focus on staying behind the scenes, as a speculator, because with that attitude things are not going to work out in this industry.
Me and my wife were kindly received and taken to the room by reception. It has been pointed out that the room has a bath and shower, but a hand sprayer connected to a tap without a curtain is definitely not a shower. The bathroom has e.g. no bin for sanitary use. The fan above the bed makes unpleasant sounds when you turn it on. There were coffee and tea bags with kettle, but only 2 triangle bags of milk available. The fact that there is only one central refrigerator at reception for everyone's use certainly does not work, especially if you want something cold at night. Our room 20 was near the road and the noise until 12:00 the night from a nearby pub was quite disturbing. There is not even a seat on the porch to just sit outside. Although neat, people feel trapped in the rooms, especially considering that there is no television, fridge or microwave.
We were very disappointed that unit was marketed as winter accommodation. This unit has bare cement floors and no fireplace. On request, they gave us 2 small fan heaters which made terrible noise, made the whole room smell bad and dried out the air so much. Also, the room is only small enough to sleep in without any area to sit and relax (as a family) during winter. After one freezing cold night where we little ones couldn't walk around on the floor and got too cold to take a shower, we just lost our money for the other 2 nights we booked and went looking for more suitable accommodation for Greyton's winter. For exactly the same price we got an entire cottage with fireplace, panel heaters and carpets where we could hang out as a family. So I would definitely not suggest any family book the Lady Grace Family Suite in winter. We lost our money and walked away with a family full of colds.
