Other facilities include a lounge, a dining area, a braai area, a TV with exclusive DStv channels and Wi-Fi. Guests are welcome to make use of the swimming pool on the host’s property. Secure parking is also available.
The Lapa is within close proximity to numerous golf courses, a local hospital, restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and attractions such as the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve. The area is also well known for the various marathons that takes place during the year. Guests are welcome to enjoy the nearby activities which includes horse riding, fishing, mountain biking, game drives and swimming.

Not for people who are looking for privacy, but a lovely place.
If the place was on the beach, it would be met forever go-to place. The hosts are always available to assist but are so discreet that you think you are on your own. It's just what I love to unwind.
Very peaceful and cozy place. Located close to everything.

Conveniently located for Comrades athletes.
There is an indoor fireplace which is great! It was already packed the wood, ready for us to light it and enjoy the warmth and cozy atmosphere on a cold winters night. The hosts are lovely; they went out of their way to ensure we have a good stay. Beds were very comfy.

Things to note:- There are two 4.5kg powder fire extinguishers, one in the kitchenette and one in the main bedroom.
- There is a rechargeable battery for electricity load-shedding periods.
- There is a padlocked security gate to the upstairs sleeping accommodation.
House Rules:
- No naked flames except at internal braai and fireplace.
- Smoking only permitted downstairs and outside.
- The property has a Septic tank system - please use the bin provided for hygiene waste products.
- Fireplace - please build a fire well back within the fireplace to obviate smoking out the lapa.
- External braai area - please braai on the designated paving slab braai area. Keep any flames well away from the thatch.
- No candles and fuel lamps are allowed.
- Use of the pool is at own risk - the pool is closed at 10 pm. The pool is unfenced and uncovered. Guests to supervise any children in or adjacent to the pool.
- No loud music after 9 pm
- In agreement with guests’ evening travel movements, the hosts will close and lock the extra driveway gates.
- Pets are welcome by arrangement, and are to be kept indoors except when walking dogs walking on a leash, The hosts have dogs that reside on the premises. Mutual coordination of dogs being exercised needs to be agreed and confirmed.
