We were in Reitz for a wedding. The self-catering unit we stayed in is well equipped for friends or a small family. It is beautiful, clean and in a peaceful environment. The place is easy to find and the road there can be driven with an ordinary car. The kitchen has a gas stove and the necessary equipment, cutlery and crockery. The equipment is clean and tidy. It felt like we were staying in a luxury house on a farm for the weekend. If you look out of the window, you are staring at the freshly harvested soy land. They have a generator that takes care of power if it is load shedding. When we entered the heater was already on and the lights were on. The unit is much larger than one would expect. We will also recommend The Lillies to our friends and family. We will definitely stay there again when we are in Reitz. Thank you very much.

We had a peaceful and beautiful visit, everything is provided and the villas are better than in the photos. Service is friendly and above standard.
We visited Reitz for a baptism event. Because the roads are not too rough, we decided to travel the day before. The gardens at the guest house are beautiful and offer rest for the soul. There are beautiful verandas to drink tea and just soak up the tranquility.

It was a wonderful stay.
The units are great, there are however issues that need to be looked at, the ceiling fan makes a huge noise, but, you can't sleep without it as it is very hot and mosquitos carried us away. The units need an awning over the patio as you cant sit outside during the day, just too hot. Fridges are too small for self-catering for a weekend or long weekend. And please get rid of the roosters, there are a couple of them and they start their crowing early and get each other going.
I had a good night's rest even though the bedding was too warm. I switched on the fan to let the air move around but the fan makes a big noise, did open the door for ventilation, the curtains kept the cold air outside and later I opened the curtains and switched off the noisy fan. I was able to sleep then. I know it is self-catering, would've liked to have rusks with my morning coffee because I departed early in the morning.
We stayed at The Lillies Guesthouse for 4 nights, although it's a beautiful place and we enjoyed our stay, we are from Australia and I didn't like the early morning wake up call from the roosters. I was also disappointed that there was no Wi-Fi, so I couldn't contact my family. There was no safe in the room for valuable items. There is no iron or ironing board. Luckily I had a hairdryer, because I didn't see one. Having said that, I would still recommend the place because it is very clean and the bed was comfortable.
Neat place. Enough water. Beautiful room with everything you could need. Will definitely stay there again.

Apart from very small points (such as the lack of milk, biscuits, hand cream and shampoo), our stay was very pleasant. Lynette was very friendly and helpful. The farm atmosphere, surrounded by the beautiful garden and surroundings, puts one in a peaceful state of mind.
