Even when we mistakenly made a pocket phone call late at night, Candice was not irritated just really concerned that there could be something wrong, which was not the case at all! Everything was lovely. Thank you.
Great location and quiet area, and also close enough to Howick if you need anything. Very friendly service, Candice is happy to help and her recommendations about the area are great. All I would add is that the rooms are also solar powered. There are no power points in the rooms, only in clubhouse. We are used to recharging the mobile phones and other electronic devices by the bed throughout the evening and here they have to be left in the clubhouse. It's not ideal and I would warn guests about this ahead of time.
Would be great to know while booking that there is no electricity in the rooms, There is a train rail line passing right next door, but it was not inconvenient or overly noisy. Great service, breakfast, omlettes and hosts. The foreplace inside the rooms are a great attraction, especially in cold weather.
