We had a very nice stay. Security for city dwellers can be a problem, due to no safe parking for your vehicle. The steep stairs will not be for everyone. Unfortunately all the windows were closed on arrival, and there was a serious distressed sound in the flat, almost smelling like hot rubber, but I couldn't locate the source of it and just had to get used to it. All facilities worked well, apartment was very well equipped, and with the sea at our side, it was a very good experience and would have stayed even longer.

This is now a real house by the sea! We enjoyed every moment of the break at The Loft. It was delightfully cool in the loft all the time and enjoyed the "thatched shower". The view all day long from the stoepie is picture-perfect. Thank you for the delicious filter coffee and popcorn on arrival. Beach basket and towels are very handy. The refresh cleaning service was nice because we stayed for a longer time. We will definitely visit The Loft again.

Most beautiful view, lots of potential. Bed and bedding old, uncomfortable and stuffy. Place is run down. Window does not work and there is poor ventilation. Location is good and it's very safe.
No code for key despite notification of time of arrival. The Loft was much smaller than expected with no bathroom privacy when travelling with a friend. Kitchen setup not as shown in photos. I would have brought my own milk for coffee if I had known it wasn't provided. There was no paperwork regarding WiFi, so I assumed it wasn't available. Better braai amenities would have been a nice touch.

We just decided on the day to sleep over in Patrenoster. The website and The Loft gave us a quick answer and everything was perfect. I slept so well with my window open and listened to the waves all night. We enjoyed a beautiful view of the sea and a lovely walk on the beach. Afterwards watched nice movies in bed. Everything was beautiful, beautiful and clean. Will definitely recommend.

The Loft was everything and more than we expected. It is very neat and clean, with a cute layout and the perfect location. The WiFi struggled a bit, but the view of the sea made up for it.
Location, location, location! It was lovely to just walk down steps, through gate, 50 yards, then you are on the sand. Most beautiful sunsets from your porch. Sound of waves at night and breakfast with a sea view. Really special. Was delicious. Maybe just a suggestion: sun is quite bad during the day on the stoep (perhaps consider a standing umbrella or tarpaulin), as well as a light on the balcony for evening braai.
Compact but very well equipped with a spacious covered deck and a lovely location very close to the beach. Would thoroughly recommend other travellers to Paternoster.
There is a great view of the sea (between 2 houses), and you can hear the sea constantly. The beach is on your doorstep, a nice safe swimming beach and the waterfront is close by, as is the little town (2 km). You can walk everywhere! Nice restaurants close by as well.

The Loft is located in one of the leading neighborhoods of Paternoster and was well appointed. For the elderly, there are about 14 narrow steps to the top. The view and comfort of the small space was good and we enjoyed our time.
The Loft is small but suitable for two people. The porch creates more space but seating inside is limited to the table with bar stools. We enjoyed it though because all basic equipment is there and the Loft is well placed. The view is good.
We received two messages regarding check-out time. It would have been great if one of those could have been a local travel tip, on for example Tietiesbaai.
Good overall, would have another short stay. Not really suitable for long stays.
No frills place just what you need to relax, rest and peace, it's a place to be.
Great time with a private beach a stone's throw away. The Loft is nicely set up for basic cooking, otherwise there are plenty of places to eat in town.
The only complaint was the condition of the kitchen towels. The washing-up cloth was full of holes and the drying cloth had been used by previous visitors - so not clean. The scouring pad was old and creepy. The owner has apologized and I am sure the problem will not occur again. The Loft is a cute little place and apart from this little problem I recommend the Loft with confidence.
Small inside but all you need for breakaway and lock up and go. Also secure and have a nice stoep with a beautiful view of the ocean that you can also here.

The Loft is fantastically located and very well equipped. The owners' shop, Junk and Disorderly, in town is a must-see and the breakfast is fantastic. We will definitely use The Loft again.

Little things that can get attention: The braai can be cleaned daily, as it is the main way of cooking, or a braai grid brush can be provided to clean it yourself. More comfortable softer chairs for the balcony. (The view is so incredibly beautiful, but the hard wooden chairs become unbearable over time). An outside light at the braai area might also be an option. Furthermore, our stay was an incredible one, which we will certainly not soon forget.

The loft sleeps only 2 people; no children are allowed.The following are not allowed: day visitors or extra guests staying over, parties or loud music, pets, and smoking (inside and outside on the balcony).
The loft is on the first floor and there is a steep flight of stairs.
The loft has a double bed; we cannot change this to 2 single beds.
The TV is not connected to DSTV, only to a DVD player. We supply a selection of DVDs. You can bring your laptop and use an HDMI cable to stream entertainment, such as Netflix, using your own accounts.
We supply beach towels.
Stays of 6 days or longer receive one cleaning service. This includes changing bed linen, bath towels, and kitchen cloths; sweeping and mopping the house; cleaning the bathroom and refilling toilet paper (2 rolls); and sweeping the patio and cleaning the braai area.
Additional cleaning services can be arranged beforehand and are at an additional cost.
