The Love Bubble has solid wood furniture and wooden floors in the bedroom, granite tops in the kitchen, chandeliers all around with Queen Anne furniture, 100-percent luxury cotton white bedding, and magnificent views from every angle excluding the bathroom.
The unit has a double bed and 2 single beds suited for 2 children. The Love Bubble has an indoor braai fireplace, as well as an outdoor braai on the deck and a spa bath. We have luxury robes for our guests, hot water bottles, and an electric blanket. We also have a launching spot, so guests can bring their boats.

There's a picture of a staircase on their ad, but it doesn't say that the master bedroom is up there and that older people and/or people with hip problems won't be able to go up there or down to the toilet at night! On the plus side, people with back and hip problems are unlikely to book here.
The bedding was old and not white. Everything is beige or brown and it does not create a good impression. The spiral stairs are a big risk that is not mentioned. Railing is made of PVC pipe and it is difficult to move up and down. There was no hot water to shower and the pressure is very weak, despite a pump. The jacuzzi is very small. Wi-Fi doesn't work. The extras do not make up for the basic which is not up to standard. It was a frustration, but it was already paid and then it stayed.

The sleeping place is upstairs in the unit and if you don't have good balance or he might be taller than 1.8m or more than 120kg. The handrail is also made of plastic sprinkler pipe and not too safe. The turn off to the Love Bubble also takes you down a dirt road through an informal settlement where you have to watch out for flat tires.
In the morning I stared at an impressive view from my bedroom. In the afternoons we sat in the hot tub and watched the setting sun which was very beautiful.
A few things offered but were not supplied, mosquitoes a huge problem. I think a few citronella candles etc. could have been supplied. Water supply a huge problem to the cottage. Joan and her son went out of their way to assist. Arrived with a flat tyre after traveling 100 km on a dirt road. Think guest must be told to only take the N7 route for that reason. Fortunately Joan's son came to the rescue and put the spare on and told us where to go to get the tyre repaired.
With small changes, bathroom can be arranged more efficiently.
The place has a lot of potential, but the basics are missing. Please clean the place well before arrival, sweep floors, dust, wash the windows. Make sure everything is in working order, such as toilet door handle falling out of the door. As mentioned, place with a lot of potential, but needs better maintenance.
The toilet was splashed upon our arrival. There is no storage space for personal belongings and no wardrobes. The linen is tired and certainly not up to standards. Mattress too. The spiral staircase to the bed is life threatening with no toilet facilities in the room for night time. Older people find it difficult and there is no warning for persons who cannot climb spiral stairs. So I had to sleep downstairs on the sofa bed without bedding. The kitchen has hopelessly too little work surface. A work bench next to kitchen cupboard will definitely help. Blinds dirty. The artificial grass in front of the door was more sand than grass. No doormat. Weeds grow wildly around the place. Positive was the outdoor barbecue although not notified in advance to bring wood. Fireplace excellent. Enough hot water. Beautiful surroundings.
My partner and I went to the Love Bubble for a weekend away to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. On the night we arrived, it was the most perfect weather, the sunset was gorgeous and we had a fire on outside. Very relaxing, next thing I know the man of my dreams gets down on one knee and asks me to marry him. Of course I said yes! Cannot wait to come back to this gorgeous place. Was the most relaxing and beautiful place to have stayed for the weekend.
Pet friendly, quiet and peaceful. It was amazing and peaceful. We enjoyed the wine farms.

We had an absolutely awesome stay there. The river is peaceful and awesome people.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was nice and clean and we also got a call in the morning to welcome us. The hostess was very friendly. My favorite were the 2 dogs on the yard, a labrador and a sheep dog with the most beautiful personalities. I will definitely stay there again. I feel I should mention that the house is not particularly suitable for the older guards who struggle with stairs as it is a loft. 11/10 for them!
Very nice house with a lovely spa bath on the veranda with a nice view and barbecue. Even negative was the wind that rose from 12:00 and it was very cold on the stoep then. Bathroom very small and the stairs up to the bedroom difficult to climb up and down for older people.
Service was not professional at all, accused of checking out late when that is not true. Cheese grater was so rusted that it is dangerous to use. Couldn't use spa bath second night as water pressure was non existent. I feel as though I paid for false advertising. It was my birthday on Saturday and I feel as though it was kinda ruined.
Through rose-colored glasses it can be romantic, but it is not practical to have to face the steep stairs between the bedroom and the toilet.
The Love Bubble was really refreshingly different. The unit is really nice and spacious with the most beautiful view of the Olifants River. A lovely farm atmosphere. The Jacuzzi on the wooden deck is an absolute winner. The TV is equipped with a variety of films and one can choose to his heart's content. The owners were really very concerned and made sure everything ran smoothly.
