Water pressure was a bit low in the shower. Daphne was great. They offer a "contactless check-in" which works great. Netflix also a big plus. If you are looking for a nice quiet getaway with all your modern conveniences around you, I can very definitely recommend The Meadows at Millstream. Will definitely go back there again. We were very kindly helped by our hostess, to move our original reservation as our planned matters changed unexpectedly. On the day of our arrival, our unit was cool, very clean and tidy. The little things left for us sometimes mean the world to someone in the dark, the chocolates and home baked cookies made our evening better when the entire area was left without power due to a severe thunderstorm. The next morning we got all the assistance we needed to finish on time for our meetings, even a dead car battery was no trouble to our host and the staff and just got us on our way quickly to be on time. be.

It was 3/10. We were not received kindly, in contrast we never met the host. She called/whatsapped us every now and then, disturbed us and falsely accused us of not checking into the right cottage. After a few calls I later sent a photo to show her we were in the right unit as she had booked for us. We were also constantly being sent instructions of what we should and should not do. There was not always hot water and the smell of sewage hangs around the building. Not a practical unit at all and freezing cold. No air conditioning or heating was provided.

Very nice place, only the pool area needs urgent attention and the route indication from main gate to accommodation is not so clearly marked. Very neat, clean and friendly staff. Will visit again.

The place was very nicely presented and everything was tidy. WiFi was quickly restored and provision in loadshedding was also explained nicely.
Pleasantly surprised with the modern, neat and beautiful place to stay. Booking in was so easy and all information was communicated well in advance. The rooms are spacious and the layout is very convenient! Provision has been made for everything from load shedding to a water shortage. The little garden and braai place was a bonus! We really enjoyed our visit very much!

We were initially concerned about guests checking in at the bottom of the units because they were very noisy. Later they had a much gentler visit when the owner often walked around the premises. We were very pleased with that and continued to enjoy the evening. Definitely a weekend getaway I would recommend. The Meadows At Millstream we will see again.

Beautiful cottage in the most picturesque location, spotlessly clean and everything looking as new. Very thoughtfully equipped and lots of attention to detail, even fresh milk in the fridge to go with the tea, coffee and biscuits provided. Well-furnished cottage with every comfort you may need for an enjoyable stay. Neat as a pin and beautifully decorated to suit the style of the cottage. We appreciated how well-maintained and secure the property is. Daphne was an excellent host that went out of her way to welcome us. Great restaurants, coffee shops and amble outdoor activities in the immediate vicinity. We'll be back!
We received a very warm welcome from our host, Daphne. We really enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed for our stay, a home away from home, we also got to braai and chill around the pool area, surrounded by beautiful, clean landscape! Very safe and private. Our cottage was immaculate and well decorated! We have found ourselves a perfect home away from home, next time we are around Harties, we are definitely not looking any further than this!
Just not sure why we had a washing machine in our chalet, and not a dishwasher with no dishwashing tablets. The pool was lovely, but needed umbrellas on the deck with cushions on the chairs. To make it more pleasant to sit at a pool, more comfortable chairs with cushions to be placed under trees, by the pool would be nice.
I enjoyed the view and the place so much.
Nice and private with a nice garden and braai area that is lit. Braai is in an open area and not covered. So, you can't barbecue when it's raining. But there's an oven if you really want to cook something. You arrange everything you need to relax.
Will definitely want to go again, next time a little longer!

The cottage really felt like a home away from home in the country. The views of the mountain were beautiful and waking up to turkeys/geese cries on the farm was nostalgic. The kitchen was fully equipped and everything was clean. Daphne left us some fresh milk and rusks for tea which I thought was just a beautiful touch. The cottages are really close to each other so at one point we could hear our neighbour's loud TV from our bedroom.

The area is not hard to find. The cottages each have their own garden - perfect for an intimate picnic. The interior is fresh, beautiful and modern. I don't usually visit places more than once but I am certainly returning to The Meadows At Millstream.
The only problem we had is the fact that they advertise it's a king size bed and then you get there and it's a regular double bed. It's not right that you mislead your guests like that.

We were bitten by bed mytes. The kitchen cloths were grey and in desperately needed Jik. The towels also needed replacement. We could not use the lanterns as it was empty. There was no dishwashing liquid and the air freshener bottle was empty. It was a bit difficult to find. I think householding needs some attention.
The units are beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean, with practical details such as hairdryers and ironing facilities, as well as a washing machine. Our entire party stayed here for my daughter's wedding, and Daphne kept up with the various guests and their arrival and departure times! The stoepies with their beautiful little gardens and the view of the mountains, let you immediately relax.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away! No detail was spared in the unit, everything has been so thought out. From extra bug repellent, to milk in the fridge and in case load shedding strikes even battery operated lights. The unit we stayed in was furnished beautifully, we wish we could have stayed here longer! This is the most perfect place to stay if you are looking to get away for a nice quite stay. The views are spectacular, you can see the whole mountain range from the porch.

Sal beslis weer gaan kuier, die keer vat ons die hele gesin saam. Eenheid goed toegerus met alles wat mens moontlik kon aan dink, lekker gekuier en gebly. Weereens, baie dankie!

Meadows at Millstream is a beautiful place where one can truly relax. The units are equipped with everything you could possibly need and more (even 100% ready for power outages). We could sit back and relax while our 1-year-old daughter played safely on the lawn. Any questions were answered immediately, and even some recommendations for excursions were provided upon request.
Our plan was to ride the cycling routes at Van Gaalen, the accommodation is practically opposite Van Gaalen.
We enjoyed our stay very much. There was careful attention to detail, like fresh fruit and rusks. Daphne is a charming hostess. She took the trouble to mail a gown that I had left in the room. Thank you.
