Interesting house with lovely rooms and people. Calm and very sweet dog kid️. Image of Moses was so striking and made me feel closer to God.
The bedroom was well equipped. The coffee making area is outside the room, so take a dressing gown with you to make coffee outside your room. There are two floors of stairs. It is not recorded anywhere. The communication was fast and the manager is very friendly and helpful. The view is fantastic. One looks from the shared stoep above over the houses and looks at the sea and lagoon. And it's sheltered, so you can sit on the stoep.
Very luxurious accommodation, neat, helpful, friendly reception; Appreciated the use of the kitchen and lounge area, also being accommodated and able to check out later when one of our members got sick.
Before: Could see and hear the sea. Quality linen and towels. Very clean and tidy. Cons: Lots of stairs to the room (might give other people a problem). Was stuck parked and had to wait until other guests were woken up. Parking a problem. No coffee making facilities in room, everything is shared with other 6 rooms in open area. Little privacy. Balcony shared and rooms' doors 1 m away from each other. Can hear closer's conversation. The other guests who are still sitting and visiting in the open area from 23:00 - 00:00 hear people clearly in your room. The photos were taken in such a way that the room looks significantly larger; but sink in the room itself; nice shower Personally not a fan of just blinds in a room. Would prefer curtains - especially if you are 1m from your neighbours' sliding door.
Ideal for younger people who can carry heavy luggage up many flights of stairs. Cleaning of units needs attention, especially sand on carpets and floors. Grills were also very rusty/dirty so we couldn't grill. Towels also smell musty. However, Nantucket's owner recently had a medical setback and I believe it would be different if she was there. However, it is a stylishly furnished place with very nice artwork. Lots of reading material and also games for the family.
From arrival to departure everything was first class. The accommodation is very well furnished and the people are very friendly, we had a great time.
No communication as to when we can check in or how, ended up driving there to ring the bell and hoot until someone came to the door who had no idea that we even booked and we were taken in through the back door. No hospitality or warm welcome and a the same on the exit. I will not recommend a stay at Nantucket.

The accommodation was very good and tidy. There was a balcony where we could sit to admire the sea view. Good facilities for self-catering with everything you need. Very good hostess who immediately made us feel at home. Secure parking.

We were pleasantly surprised with The Nuntucket. We had a lovely room with a nice sea front view. Everything is neat, clean and has the stamp of the owners who are both great travel enthusiasts. Every morning at breakfast we had a nice conversation with the "bare-eating klong", Dwayne, who has a nice chat while he makes you breakfast. Take some time and talk to him. Dwayne is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to Hermans. He can direct you to all the major tourist attractions in the area, but you want him to tell you about all the hidden gems. We visited wonderful little cellars and farms that he recommended and they were all absolutely worth seeing. You also get detailed information about all the cellars in the Hemel-en-Arde valley. He also recommended the most delicious places to eat for us both nights and even made the reservation for us. Both evenings the food was of excellent quality. The Nuntucket see us again.
Fantastic location with view of mountain in the background and ocean in the front. Extremely neat and clean and really just a great place to relax. Everything you need is there to enjoy your stay. Hostess is a special person!

The Nantucket was clearly a well run place - very neat, clean and with a friendly welcome.
Nice to be able to park your car in the garage, inside the security gate. Love that each room has a key and remote for the room and security gate. Room was very clean, great view and the living area on the top floor gives a nice "homy-feel" to the house. The staff were friendly, warm and very helpful. Breakfast was off the books.
After a long day of driving, it was amazing to walk into a place that is so beautiful, a feast for the eyes. Friendly reception. It was just fantastic.
The hostess was a very lovely lady!
